I was offered a $30 refund on my parking fee if I left a good review, but I refuse to do that for such a terrible establishment. I’d rather sacrifice the $30 and warn others about this scam of a deal. The so-called $44 deal is a complete joke! After checking out, Ocean Sands charged me a total of $170. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so charging for parking is absurd, especially when they’re already charging $119 in “service fees.” **What services?!** Open/Half empty - clearly used, bathroom toiletries. The breakfast? Awful—nothing but frozen, reheated food that wasn’t worth eating. The entire building reeks of mildew, and I woke up with a terrible headache and stuffy nose after just one night. It was unbearable. Expedia's offer stated I’d only owe $96 upon arrival. No mention of parking fees. The paperwork I signed mentioned fees between $89-$119, but there was no discussion of why I was being charged the max when the hotel was clearly not at capacity. This place is misleading and far from a good value. Avoid at all costs.

You will experience a beautifully updated, dream-like setting at Ocean Sands Beach Boutique Inn! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! This property is a former motel that has been renovated to fit current aesthetics. Its clean, quiet and has 24hr beach access. It allows dogs, but their pet policy is incomplete online. Call and ask for it because you will have to sign it when you check in and it includes some potential fees. They did welcome my pup with several milk bones and do have areas for dogs to use. Beach access is also dog friendly. Laundry was advertised but we were told laundry could not be accomodated. Next morning, I saw them accomodate someone else's just fine. There are a lot of fees associated with booking and late check out depending on time of late check out. I did receive several message from managent checking in with us about our stay and one afterwards asking for a review in exchange for the parking fee to be waived. Dogs are also an additional fee plus fees for other things as well.

To many hidden fees "Services Fee" as they call them parking fee ..breakfast fee .. fee for charging electric vehicle we so not have ..24 hr beach access just not worth the cost. Mantance working on Friday night till 6 pm next to our room.

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. The hotel was quaint, clean and staff was amazing. We loved the little perks like cookies and popcorn each afternoon. The beach was beautiful and literally right across the street. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 may be kind of silly, but worth mentioning. I ordered a $10 bottle of champagne and was charged $98 for it! I wasn't informed of the price (though I probably should have asked) and thought that was a tad overboard. Otherwise, great stay.

Perfect Stay!
Loved my stay at Ocean Sands. Beautiful room that was clean and well maintained. Great access to the beach and close to restaurants. But best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back!

Mainly the construction that was going on that we didn’t know that was going on prior to our arrival making it difficult to maneuver during breakfast time. Only other issues was the shower didn’t have a temperature knob so we couldn’t adjust the temperature, but as soon as we told the front desk, maintenance fixed it. After we returned from our day, maintenance did manage to lock us out of our room but yet again the front desk made sure to take care of it right away. I do recommend fabric softener for the towels and linen. Besides that our stay was pretty good.
