For some reason this was the only hotel we didn’t see any sign posts for. It was difficult to find we didn’t see any airport staff either around to ask. The lift was out of order to actually reach the hotel this was poorly managed. I have a lower back problem and having to carry my heavy luggage was going to be a disaster not to mention the anxiety caused. We finally found airport staff who took us another route via an internal lift it was long but we didn’t need to walk any steps. The entire process from getting off at stansted airport station to the hotel took us just over an hour. I just think this could have been a managed better. The hotel should have emailed prior explaining the steps to reach the hotel to minimise the disruption and to save time. The staff themselves were welcoming on arrival. We also called the reception to say the toilet is making a very loud water gushing sound we were told someone would come to fix it . No one came and 45 minute of listening to this noise we were unable to sleep. The noise finally stopped and we didn’t dare to use the toilet the remaining night as we didn’t want any further problems. The whole point of booking the hotel over night was to save time and have a good night sleep and both of those needs weren’t met .
