Seems recently renovated, very clean. The decor and design is original 60's very cool. Its great that a hotel renovated but didn't rip out the original fittings but instead restored everything The bar is very special original design. Its not one of these new boutique hotels that tried to look cool. This place is the original, very cool. Rooms clean and comfortable, excellent place!

I expected it to be better but it was tired and very old fashioned The room was fine but staff very average not that welcoming at all. No idea where the spa was as no one told us and the bar area was soulless no atmosphere at all Breakfast looked ok but all the bread and croissants were pre baked rather than fresh from the bakery- Fruit salads looked liked theyā€™d been made up a while ago and the girl serving coffee was as miserable as anything she didnā€™t smile or welcome us at all. Itā€™s a average hotel definitely not 4*
