The Melbourne Airport Parkroyal is an excellent hotel to stay at if you have an early flight the next day. Takes the stress out of getting up early and getting to the airport, especially if you have a long commute to get to the airport. Easy walk over to the terminals. Also good food options at the hotel, but if you want something simpler and cheaper it is an easy walk to the food outlets in and around the terminal precinct.

The Accommodation was top notch but having to come and go to the property through carparks due to construction was quite unsafe especially at night, The walkways were dark , dingy and left one feeling quite exposed. During the day the construction work was quite audible in the hotel lobby and service areas. On the whole felt quite let down , if it hadnt been for such an early flight we would have refused to stay there. Blessedly the rooms were soundproof.

It was ok, Room had some strange noises happening every now and then. Staff questioned my in room breakfast order an hour before it was due for delivery. Very annoying. Especially when i confirmed request on checkin. Was hard to get a quiet sleep.
