While staff seemed friendly and nice, the hotel is not as nice as it appeared to be online. The hallway smelled of damp dog, our 1st night we had no hot water, woke up to ants in our bathroom and around the floor area of the bed. Maintenence wanted to come in and spray for bugs while we were still in the room. Later we were thankfully moved to a new room. Breakfast was as expected. Not quite worth $225 a night.

It was a very clean and updated hotel. Check in staff was very nice and professional too. I've had to stay in the Auburn area a few times and hotels aren't always in the safest areas. This one felt very safe, and walking distance to dining options. I must be getting old though, because it feels like the cost of hotels have gone up so much lately.
