Takayama Hotels with Hot Tub in Room

We had the room that was considered traditional and western. It had the area for the table and chairs, which then became the sleep area for 2 people with the traditional mats and in the other part of the room were 2 twin beds. Staff was very helpful and helped us arrange the shipping of our luggage. This is next to the train and bus stations so easy to catch transportation. About a 10 minute walk to the older shopping district. Convenient to have a microwave in the room to cook food. A large grocery store was about a 15 minute walk. Being next to the bus and train station did not give great views, but we were booking for the space for 4 adults and the convenience of getting around. This room had a washer/dryer combo, which was a plus because it allowed us to not have to pack as many clothes for the trip.

Well equipped studio style room is very good value

Great service. Location near to station and to the Main Street. Room was very spacious and decorated. Onsen was great and clean.
