Will not support this hotel in the future.
The first room we were given had bugs in it that did bite. When I attempted to call the front office the phone did not have a cord to plug into the outlet. The second room, housekeeping picked up the dirty towels the following morning but did not replace them nor did they empty the trash. It was not worth the amount charged for the stay. I will not stay there again.

I had to kill several roaches, sink knob was broke, elevator was broken and I had to carry suitcases up a flight of stairs. I felt unsafe and will never stay at this property again.

Filthiest Laquita I’ve stayed in.
The worst Laquita I’ve stayed at. Very dirty. My husband washed the air conditioner filter in bath tub. They were filthy. Lots of mold on walls. Had to have someone get TV working. We wouldn’t eat the breakfast.(who knows what that looked like). The whole place needs redone. Not eco friendly because the toilet a 3.4 gallon and tub faucet leaked a steady stream.

I made a reservation for 2 rooms that could accommodate 8 people. When my wife got there she was told that the reservation was for 1 room and they were full; 10 minutes later she was told they had a room but for $147. Was this a scam? I don’t know, but we didn’t have any other option but to pay their price. This is a rundown property with very poor maintenance. But when you are running from a hurricane like everyone else you have very little choice. This is a place I will never stay here again.

Worst hotel ever!!!
Worst hotel ever! Dont waste your money. I just stayed one night on my way, Is not even cheap so I would have thought it would be decent. Roaches, super filthy! I couldnt even shower, bc of mold. I asked the front desk guy for a refund so I could get a decent hotel and he said he could get me a clean room? so he knew it was dirty, how terrible service. He never gave me a clean room btw so I drove as fast as I could next morning. Worst of the worst.

What could be changed? Spray for bugs. Maybe put a blanket on the bed, instead of the very lightest of, I don't know what it was, a super-thin quilt? And fix the dripping tub spout. And fix the elevator. And open the pool. And fix the smell in the lobby. Yikes. Stay away.

Trojan waiting in our room upon arrival
Went to the assigned room , couldn’t get in the door was jam shut , front desk pop it open , and then we come in the that smelled odd and find empty packages of rubbers on the floor between the bed and wall , went back to the front desk requesting a different room , felt that if the room had Trojan packages on the floor the bed was probably dirty also

We needed a place to stay while evacuating from our home for Milton. While I appreciate that they are pet friendly this hotel is in total disrepair. From the rooms to the parking lot. The walls were dirty and the smell was horrible. If I hadn’t been so tired from traveling I would have ran from this place. I don’t have any problem staying in an older hotel but please clean the place. I do not recommend staying here

Had to climb stairs to get to room on first floor. He should have warned me about that. No microwave. Blowdryer broken. Poorly lit outside no visible directions to rooms. I was given directions to room but wasnt told that first floor room was on second level so drove around having to stop and get out in the dark to look at room numbers on doors then still had to go back to lobby to ask. Checkin slow.

I would leave zero stars it the option was available. La Quinta should be embarrassed to have their name on this property. I’m 48 years old and I have NEVER been at a more disgusting place. The room was so dirty, smelled HORRIBLE, carpet was damped like from a flooding that was never fixed, bathroom was in deplorable conditions, broken fixtures, extremely dirty tub, toilet, sink. Sheets were visible used and not changed before our arrival, headboard have NEVER been dusted, food crumbs on floor, very visibly insect drops and dead insects on furniture. I had to wipe and disinfect bathroom. We were so grossed out that we slept on our clothes. We did not feel safe, someone tried to open the door of our room at 3 AM. We ran and checked out early in the morning not caring if we wouldn’t been reimbursed for the additional days. Front desk was polite but very unprofessional, wearing flip flops with dirty feet and super long toe nails. I would never want to experience anything like that again!Please La Quinta people, remove your name from this place, is misleading and it is NOT a place to be recommended.
