Great location, major renovation needed.
Incredibly affordable and great location. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel had everything you needed. The valet staff was extremely efficient and didn’t have to wait long for your vehicle. One complaint is that it’s pretty obvious that it’s in need of a major renovation. Too many eye sores for a luxury priced hotel.

The hotel was closed due to Hurricane Helene, which is understandable however we were NEVER notified. We actually got the “go ahead and check in early” email the day before check in. I heard through a family friend and called the night before we were to check in and they confirmed they were closed (had been closed the whole week). Hotel Tampa confirmed the reservation was cancelled on their end with an issue refunded back to Expedia. After multiple phone calls Expedia refused to refund my money. No refund, no open hotels in the area, and totally change in plans for our trip made this very frustrating. A lot of issues could have been avoided if Expedia and the hotel just communicated. Can you imagine if I didn’t call and we showed up to check in with a complete surprise that they are closed and no where to go!? Completely disappointed and will not be booking with this company in future.

Booked here to have a romantic vacation with the wife. Balcony was nice but room was small and old. Faucets were difficult to turn and the location is horrible. Hotel forces valet parking at $42 a night and nothing is within walking distance. Hotel restaurant has a horrible menu selection and is extremely overpriced. Other than the river view, this hotel offers nothing.

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they did not have the room that I reserved with the balcony. They put me in a different room that the air conditioner was so loud and would not cool. We asked to be moved. The room that they moved us too was better but the air would not cool down as much as we like. We could not sleep very well.
