Rooms were very nice & clean. However, my children & I ( as well as other guests we met) were very disappointed with the hot tub & pool. The hot tub was so scolding hot we could not enter & the pool was very cold. When I informed the hotel they attempted to correct the situation the next day, the results were the pool was warmer than the hot tub so for our 3 day, 2 night stay we were unable to use the facilities we had booked the hotel for in the first place! For $305/night plus fees i found the hotel lacking.

We chose this hotel as a great alternative value in lieu of staying in downtown Toronto. Driving and parking in Toronto is fairly easy with reasonable day rates so there is no need to stay at a downtown Toronto hotel "for convenience". We chose Markham for its safety and close proximity to Toronto. Hotel was great with friendly staff, clean rooms, great bathrooms, easy and free parking, and fantastic breakfast menu (for a fee)! One odd thing that happened is the hotel charged my credit card for our 2-night stay even though everything was already prepaid for by Expedia. When I saw this duplicate charge on my credit card, I called them to inform them about the mistake, they apologized, and returned the duplicate charge.

Stay ok but beware of ventilation
The room was nice, clean and comfortable beds. However the vent strength and heating system was a nightmare. The vent was too strong despite the level the thermostat was set at. As well the temperature was too erratic again despite the settings. We ended turning off the vent system at night and slept cold.
