Getting there is rough
I booked the hotel for a colleague visiting Canada for the first time. I asked if they could arrange an airport pick up and was passed between 5 people before I was told that it would cost $160 before tax and tip for the airport pick up with greeting service. Given this, I would say it is not the ideal place to host guests requiring a bit more assistance.

Great hotel and staff. Negatives were with the room, which were eventually resolved: bed was very soft and caused my wife and I to develop some back issues after 2nd night. A/C fan was very loud, and woke us up several times during the night. Safe didn’t work and the shower tended to clog. Still rated overall experience very good because staff tried to address the room issues but wound up upgrading us instead to a much nicer room that took care of all of the problems mentioned above. We found the location very convenient and safe. Staff was very attentive, proactive and helpful - esp. when they help retrieve my wallet that was left behind during a dinner at the CN tower. Staff were the best part of our stay.

Stayed at the Omni Kind Edward hotel August 16-18. The staff were super nice! When we checked in they upgraded us from two queen beds to one king. The staff were very accommodating and super nice when in passing. Upon check out the maid asked how we liked are room and if it was clean enough for us and hopes to see us again! Overall I would stay here again.

If you have never been to Toronto you really need to stay at this beautiful hotel! The hotel is majestic in style and historical beauty. The staff are very friendly and helpful the moment you stop your car at the front door! If you want to feel classy and impress your wife or significant other, then you might want to pick this hotel. My wife would recommend the spa also, just a hint to those who have difficulty figuring out how to please their wife…lol

Avoid if you’re a light sleeper.
For £400/night i had reasonably high expectations. Unfortunately, it’s one of those hotels that spends all the money on the lobby but neglects the bedrooms. Mine was pretty drab but the biggest issue was the noise. The AC was very loud. An engineer admitted that it was the usual noise and nothing could be done. So I had to switch it off to sleep, then the problem was the trams. They trundled past every 5 mins at all hours. The trams were noisy and you could feel the vibration. The windows are thin and so even the sirens outside were very loud. Hotel was full so they couldn’t move me. So if you’re a light sleeper, avoid this hotel!
