First time at the hotel eventhough my hysband and I visit Traverse City every year. We chose this location because of family reunion. Water on the lake was a tad cold as it is only mid June but there was an indoor pool and hot tub to make up for it. Guest service was courteous and we had a very nice overall experience.

Spectacular stay-kids didn’t want to leave!
Beautiful place, great location right on the beach, fantastic staff-Can’t say enough about every employee we interacted with. Beds very comfy. Showering last in a family of 6 after doing dishes and still such a good Hot shower! Love the kitchen and ability to whip up a meal so we didn’t have to leave the beach! A few details on cleaning/room overlooked (toothpaste on mirror, outlet covers missing) but nothing that wouldn’t keep me from running back for more time at Pinestead! 2 thumbs up from the entire family!

Right on the beach - beautiful views - really nice staff. Furniture a little dated but it is comfortable - feels like someone’s beach cottage. Love having full size fridge with a freezer plus dishwasher - makes it very convenient.
