Disappointing second visit to hotel. Stains on carpet and sofa in room, NOT a place if you don't like dogs..booked a table for dinner in restaurant and shown to table but dogs at adjoining tables. Dogs allowed everywhere and as a result whole place felt unclean. Obviously only rated 4 stars due to range of facilities available and not quality of stay. Shame it's not as good as on our first stay

We booked the Falmouth Hotel for our honeymoon the executive room we found it very disappointing as extremely dated and frayed carpet well beyond its date. The leisure facilities were clean but not alot all the facilities working. The staff we found not over friendly. I don't think we got what we paid for.

All good, staff jolly and helpful. Extensive work with scaffolding all along the front made the view a bit disappointing as all empty cans and food cartons left on scaffolding outside my window by workmen.

Such a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we hadn’t been informed ahead of time of the scaffolding covering our side of the building, so our sea view was obstucted and it also meant we couldn’t open our window, so it was quite warm. The hotel has some beautiful original features and of course is in a beautiful location. I can't wait to see what the improvements are like after tge refurbishment. The rooms are a little tired and mis match at the moment. I would still recommend this hotel to people. The pool area is small but lovely and breakfast was nice too.

Beautiful location but needs complete updating
Aging building and decor. Beautiful location and sunning views over the Falmouth bay. However it needs a complete update and overhaul. Also absent reception and limited choice of food.

Booked room with a sea view, then got an email saying that due to some renovations there may be some scaffolding up. Sure enough, window obscured about 25%. Wardrobe door fell off when I opened it, and the shower was leaking all around the control valve. Seats and sofas in the lounge need a good clean.

Nice but tired.
As it was our wedding anniversary I booked a night at the Falmouth Hotel. The hotel position is fantastic, overlooking the sea and Castle Beach. The place is undergoing renovation and repairs as it is a little tired (built in the 1800's), however mostly good to very good service with new owners only a few months ago!! Breakfast was good, bar service good but quite expensive, bar lounge comfortable with some furnishings a little well used. I would stay again in the future.

Everything about this hotel was great. It’s under renovation, this was explained to me by one of the managers. Who took lots of time telling me the plan over the next year. It sounds fantastic. My husband was welcomed when he came to pick up myself and our son. He was able to look around. We all especially love the Art Deco style of the hotel it has some beautiful features.
