This place was run down, extremely old and stained furniture, cockroaches, wood chipping of the room doors, rust in the bathtub, hot water faucet knobs did not work, the outlets were ancient and loose nothing would stay plugged in, the chords kept falling out. The room was musty and dank. The only decent thing about this place is the free breakfast.

This is an old hotel with great need for a total multimillion renovation. The carpets throughout the hotel are old and stained. Our bathroom, although clean, and rust around the tub drain and the sink had a small leak. The hot water in the shower was a hit and miss, but mostly a miss. The cloth chairs in the room had stained arm rest from years of use without being clenaned, and the fabric was torn and frayed. The curtain was torn at the top. It appears that some of the rooms one the first floor were being renovated. The complimentary breakfast was very well done, very clean with a great array of food. The work out gym had new top of the line equipment. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

We drove from Los Angeles and reached late at Tucson. This property needs serious renovations. We were given room on the second floor (242) which was totally horrible. It was like a page pulled out of the 1960s. The carpet was full of stains, the flush took 5 minutes to flush out, the sink had cracks and no strainer (you could see the pipe), the shower did not have hot water, the shower knob was going round and round as if from a 1950s old steering wheel which does not stop, the tub was non usable as there was not way to stop the water flowing out of the tub (my son wanted to use the tub and he couldn't), broken panels on the old 1960s thermostat, furniture with all marks all over and washed out tapestry as if its straight from a good will store, the bathroom door had all corroded sides and the door with wood strips falling out, nothing in that room was okay.. totally unacceptable. It was about 11:30PM by the time we saw all this and were very very unhappy but were so tired so decided to sleep and take the matters to the staff the next day. On the text which we received asking us how the check in was, we put our concerns the same very night but no one ever got back until asking as to check out the following day. This has been the worst property we have ever stayed in and when a big brand puts its name behind - it should be seen that the customer at least has a good experience. Worst room ever and as a matter of courtesy we should be given a total refund for our stay.

Bad stay
The mattress was bad, spring mad noise when you sat on the mattress. There was only one trash can in the whole room, and there was no house keeping the whole time we were there. Also , I have stayed at that hotel before and they still have an elevator out of order and the can use a remodeling too. Some of the wall in the bathroom are water log and falling apart
