Check-in, the room, and facilities were all excellent. The restaurant has always been an anticipated highlight of our stays here. This time, the food was excellent as usual. The service, however, left something to be desired. Since the restaurant was full, the waitstaff was apparently overwhelmed. It took roughly 15 minutes before anyone came to take our orders. When we finished eating, we waited at least another 15 minutes waiting for our check. I finally flagged down someone, not our waitress, to get the check. Apparently, the restaurant did not have waitresses for a full house. That was the only complaint I had about our stay.

Perfect location for two very popular National Parks....Big Bend and Guadeloupe National Park. Also very convenient to the Davis Mountains State Park. Scenery surrounding the area is stunning and the Hotels food is delicious and prices are reasonable. The free continential breakfast is excellent. We will go back and also recommend to friends and family.
