I absolutely LOVE staying at this property. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is always so very clean. I ordered room service for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my meal and quick delivery! This is always my first pick whenever I’m traveling to this area.

Comfortable stay
The beds have the right amount of firmness and softness that is comfortable to the back. They have extra pillows, a ref, a coffee maker and a microwave in the room. There are chairs in the balcony too. The bath essentials smells good. Our room is in the 2nd floor and the roof is what we see from our balcony if only they put turf on if it is not a fire hazard would have been nice.

What once was
Crown Plaza had always been my "go to" hotel for the area. Sure has changed in the last few years. On my recent stay, Reception met you with no smile, seemed bothered if you asked a question. Valet very courteous. Bar personnel fabulous! Cleaning crew very good! Grounds clean! There was NO hotel security at all and especially for New Years Eve! Apparently have been without security for a month or so. For three years in a row, the balcony windows are still covered with salt water, you can barely see out. No other hotels in the area have that issue of dirty windows. It seems it is getting to be run down. I doubt that I will go back. Too bad, too! Not sure if a change in management, but it has come down quite a few notches a lot. Great location, too! So close to everything! I hope it gets its look and care back!
