Landing Beaches tour
Great location for touring the landing beaches. Just what we were looking for. The house is located just enough outside the busy areas that we were really able to get the feel of living n the French countryside. Georges meet us at the house and explained everything in fine detail. Parking located right across the road from the house. Well equipped kitchen that we were able to cook breakfast each day before setting out for full days of adventure. According to Georges the church bell ringng can keep folks awake at night. We were so busy through the days we slept soundly through the night, we never heard it. Merci Georges, well done.

Wonderful house and location for exploring the coast of Normandy
We arrived and were greeted warmly! Next we got a tour of the house with explanations on the shutters, kitchen appliances and BBQ. They have a notebook with helpful info too! It’s a quiet village and was a super location to head up and down the Normandy coast for lots of sightseeing-WWII, La Mont St Michel, Monet’s garden to the east. Fabulous memories were made and I would stay here again!!

The house was lovely and very well equipped. The only thing that the kitchen needs is sharp knives. Charlotte is a good host and checked to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. Thank you for a nice visit to Ver-sur-Mer!

The host was amazing. They had everything organised and ready for arrival. There was a binder full of suggestions for things to do, places to eat, location of grocery stores etc… We had such a good time that we decided to stay an additional evening. It was a complete opposite to our first experience in Paris Property #2097045a which was a breath of fresh air. If anyone decides to venture out to Normandy I would highly recommend staying at this property. We also took a day trip to Mont Saint Michel from here and had a blast as a family. Board games available, game consoles etc… Awesome place thanks so much.

Beautiful home in quiet part of Normandie. Near British landing beach-Gold beach.
Caen was 30-40 min drive. Historic medieval church is next door. George’s was very hospitable. We had everything we needed.

Pleasant stay, very good accommodation, great location, owners very friendly and helpful. Opening times of shops and restaurants seem a bit erratic- so possibly this could be explained better.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay having visited many of the D day landing sights and a trip to nearby Bayeux tapestry with my elderly parents. This house is in a fantastic position, you are able to walk to the British memorial site and Gold beach. All of the other landing sites and museums are in a very close range. Bayeaux is also worth visiting we went to see the tapestry and this was fascinating and well worth a visit. George the owner was lovely and very helpful, we contacted him as we had a problem with the TV and he was there immediately. Charlotte always answered my questions quickly. There is a lovely bakers about a 10 min walk away. If you are lucky to have some good weather then there is also a nice seating area outside.

Georges and Charlotte are wonderful hosts; they thought of everything a family would need for a stay. We would stay here again if we make it back to France. The town is beautiful, the locals are welcoming. Home is located next to a church. Parking lot across the street was easy to access.

We were drawn to the property due to it’s proximity to the Normandy landing beaches. It’s nearly equidistant to Caen and Bayeux in a small, inviting village. Georges and Charlotte were extremely good at answering our questions, greeted us on arrival and said Au Revoir when we left. They are fantastic hosts! We couldn’t have asked for a better property. If you are going to Normandy, you must consider staying here. We absolutely loved it!

Georges and Charlotte were great hosts. The home is in a quiet village near Gold Beach and we enjoyed driving through the farmlands to and from the home to see the D-day landing beaches. The home had everything we needed and was well kept.

Lovely home in Normandy
We were thrilled with this home in Ver-Sur-Mer. There were 7 of us travelling (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 3 youth). The home was spacious and contained all that we needed. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare meals and there was a large dining room and comfortable sitting room. Georges and Charlotte were very kind and helpful - even when we dropped something behind the shower, Georges contacted a plumber to see if we could retrieve it. He also went out of his way to help us with drying out laundry as we couldn't figure out if the washer was also a dryer...lol. We highly recommend this home. It is close to the d-day beaches and not far from a nice big supermarket (about 10 minutes drive). The church next door was charming and there was lots of parking (we had a 9 passenger van and never had trouble parking for free) We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful house in convenient location
The house was as described with hi-speed internet and plenty of parking on-site to fit our 9-passenger van. A beautiful home in a very convenient, yet peaceful, location for our trips to Bayeux, Caen, and the surrounding beaches. The best part of this experience was interacting with our host, george. He was very hospitable and at our request came inside and visited with us, sharing all of his expertise of the local area as well as Paris. Visiting with George was one of the highlights of our trip and if we ever return, his will be the first property we look up!
