Very happy with the property and I would use it again. But it was booked mid year when my wife was entered into the Melbourne Marathon Festival. Unfortunately she was unable to participate and I was going to cancel as I’d taken Trip protection out with the booking. The protection it claimed to expired months ago. And there wasn’t any option to find out why. So I took the accommodation anyway with no reason to be there I won’t be taking that option again and reconsider using Wotif again too

It’s fine for what it is; affordable room in central location, clean and nice enough. Bed was super comfortable and room was quiet, we slept well. Nice bathroom, great shower. Night manager was friendly and accomodating when we found an issue with the room. There was a gentleman at reception who was also great. Breakfast was lacklustre but we are particularly fussy when it comes to food. Outside on the street is gross, especially in the evening, a lot of people up to no good. Would stay again though.

A lovely place to stay
Doubletree Hilton is a lovely hotel. As you enter the building you can smell the baked welcome cookies which are delicious and a lovely touch. Excellent service with welcoming staff. I arrived early so my room wasnt quite ready so I sat by the fire place and enjoyed a drink while I waited. My room was very clean and presented well. Bathroom is modern and very functional. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent service, staff very welcoming and I love they are an equal opportunity employer- well done! Rooms comfortable, warm and block out curtains gave us a fantastic chance to rest. Breakfast had everything to suit all tastes. Location perfect.

Across the street to Flinders Street station. Plenty of public transport. Restraunt had a great chicken dish there.
