Great family time
It was all about being with the family and this is a great place to be able to do this. The kitchen has heaps of room and bench space for all to help out. Nice big dining table for all to sit around. Good having the separate tv room so the boys could watch the tv while the girls played RummyO. Not far at all to Waipu Cove or Waipu itself. Overall a great place to hang out. Awesome looking out over the water and up to Bream Rock. Lovely and quiet.

Simply brilliant
A charming house on a very spacious plot of land. Plenty of room for activities and very private. A lovely spa and outdoor fire pit perfect for the cool evenings. Top that off with a spectacular beach just over the dunes less than a 10 min walk away. Also close to waipu town centre and mcleods brewery. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Lots of space. Great to have second lounge area for kids to hang out and beds for four kids in one room. Loved the spa. Few minutes drive to the cove - beach, dairy, cafe and restaurant. Comfy beds.

Perfect location - well equipped property
It was a clean and well-equipped property. The jacuzzi was a delight - sitting in the warmth and viewing a breathtaking night sky (we were blessed with 2 clear nights in a place with minimal light pollution). Close to all forms of water - beaches and estuary as well as a variety of restaurants and cafes in Waipu and Waipu Cove. The bed was extremely comfortable and the fans appreciated as well as the TV with a range of viewing when the weather wasn't great. I don't want to rave too much in case it becomes unavailable but a great location for a beach holiday!

Was awkward to open lock on gate, but once in,the house was well off main road,so lovely and quiet. We were so fortunate with the weather and just enjoyed relaxing in the sun. Well equipped, comfortable,close proximity to fantastic beaches.

Lovely Place to Get Away
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids) stayed here with another couple and we had such a nice time. The property was easily big enough for all of us, there are tonnes of beds and large living spaces. The kitchen is fantastic and had a huge range of basic spices etc as well as all the pots, pans, plates, you could need. We stayed during the floods and the property manager was in constant contact to make sure we were OK and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Tranquil setting with amazing views that creates the perfect place to relax!
Absolutely loved this property! Location is perfect, and setting is outstanding. Really close to Waipu Cove beach and surf. Amazing to be able to stroll down to the river and paddle around in the estuary, across to the dunes and beach. Spa on the front deck was outstanding! We cannot wait to go back.

Excellent Bach. Highly recommend. We picked it for the teenagers and the spa pool, internet and kayaks made it perfect for our teenagers. The view is fantastic and there is masses of bird life in the garden and river behind the property to watch from the spa. Pristine beaches a plenty either a wade or kayak across the river or a 2 minutes drive to waipu cove or a few more onto langs beach.

Fantastic bach, idyllic location
Me and a group of friends stayed at the bach over New Year's and had the most wonderful time. The house is so much bigger in real life compared to the photos and we comfortably fitted seven of us plus the dog into the bach. Just across the sand dunes is a beautiful beach which we went to every day and were always the only ones there. The night skys were incredible with stunning views of the milky way - we spent our last evening star gazing which was very magical. Rebecca was a super helpful host and let us check in early. Wish we could have stayed longer!

If we relaxed any more we would have fallen over backwards!
This is such a lovely place. Not just the house which is awesome but it's setting. The bird sound is lovely, the views are forever changing across the dunes, absolute privacy. Spa pool was a godsend with us all, kids can bike up and down the long secure driveway, we had a small dog with us who had a great time. The best thing though was a friend in a wheelchair could get into the house with her portable ramps, move around the house easily and get into the bed. The was accessible in that she could get in and use the toilet but the shower wasn't. A few stick on hand rails would help. The kayaks and boards and lifejackets that were available were fantastic for fun at the end of the garden in the water. And let's not forget the huge fire pit - we had to order in some firewood locally but just sitting there at night with a roaring pit was lovely.We only live locally on the Tutukaka Coast and had never really thought of a local holiday but it has been the best - less travel meant less arguments in the car to deal with! The house easily sleeps 9 people and plenty of space around and about for everyone. Definately come here it has everything you need with local walks a dairy etc. Thankyou for opening up your lovely bach for others to enjoy.

Perfect break away.

We had a great time as the property is very well positioned and has all the amenities to make your holidays fun. It had great heating, firepit, spa and all the privacy to make the stay very enjoyable. All it needed was a good vaccum as the floors were very dirty. I will always go back to enjoy the space with my family in summers.

We had a blast. The property was immaculately presented and just as advertised. The spa pool was absolute bliss in the evenings and the kayaks were a blast. Although we didn't get a chance to use the fire pit we will definitely be toasting some marshmallows next time. Wifi was fast and easy to connect to and the smart TV made the evenings easy. A massive range of DVDs and books if you would rather though. The takeaways in Waipu were delicious. Best Wontons I've had in years. I highly recommend.
