No light, facing office building, loud noises.
Our room faced an office building (a couple meters away) with very little light. None of the room descriptions mention that. It should be explicitly stated. Great if you'd like to see people working from your bed tho! Also there was some horribly loud noises outside every day around 7-8am (for about 5-10 minutes). Not sure what this was. Pillows had some dark marks on them.

It is very rare for me to leave negative reviews, do not waste your money on this hotel! The check in staff and bar staff had no customer service to the point of being unpleasant. The electric blinds did not work in my room, so an engineer came to charge them, fair enough, these things happen. The cables however were never collected and left strewn about the room for a week instead of picking up the next morning as promised. The wifi didnt work and the receptionist had to log my phone into an alternative wifi, no biggie but another hassle, and finally an employee just walked into my room whilst I was changing, stating sorry I thought this was a checked out room, and was clearly just using the space to sit on his phone. This hotel is all style and no substance, the worst hotel experience I've had.

We absolutely loved our stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a lovely view to the street. Since its located in the nice area of Downtown you feel safe at all times. Staff is friendly and helpful. We traveled with children and it was perfect for us. We will stay at AC again when we return to DC.

The receptionist at the desk was very rude; me and my husband came in on a late flight around 11:30pm. The receptionist would not answer the intercom to let us in the hotel; we had to wait with all our luggage; until a guest leaving came through the doors. Whoever worked the overnight shift on July 17th, 2024 was very rude and needs to be counseled.
