After a very lackluster checkin at this beautiful hotel we weren't expecting much, but the accommodations were so nice that it made up for the front desk clerk's lack of welcome. (guess she's been working this job too long to understand that she's the "first impression" for guests staying at this hotel for the first time)
This hotel has a GREAT location since it's just a short walk to the nearby marsh/beach, plus it's in a very quiet area because the beach's parking lot is quite small so most of the beach-goers must live nearby/within walking distance.
We were lucky enough to have a first-floor suite, so no stairs were involved in toting our bags to the room. Upon opening the door, we were so happy to see what looked like a freshly renovated, spacious one-bedroom suite with very comfortable furniture, which included two upholstered swivel chairs, spacious couch, kitchen table/chairs, closet, and an efficiency kitchen including a full-size frig and microwave, plus a large wall-attached TV. The bathroom was a nice size, with a tub/shower combo. The bedroom had a queen-size bed, closet, dresser, TV, ceiling fan, and sliders to a balcony.
The suite was VERY clean and had plenty of wastebaskets, lighting, A/C (the Cape was on the cool side at night, so we kept the windows open instead of running the A/C), good Wifi, and plenty of parking. We didn't try the pool, but others were enjoying it during the day when it was warmer.
We highly recommend this wonderful hotel!
