The room was in dire need of an update for sure. Couch was horrible, lighting was very poor. Hair dryer was so hot, it almost burned my hair and smelled. The spa was very nice and staff was friendly. Front desk desk was not very friendly. We have not been there in years and used to LOVE it. I doubt if we will return. Definitely not worth the money we paid.

Very relaxing weekend, beautiful park setting. However, I was dissappointed in the food at the dining rooms. I think there was more emphasis on photogenic presentation. It was difficult to eat a sandwich piled that high. Also, ordered guacamole toast in the morning. It was too elaborate resulting in soggy toast that was difficult to eat. In both cases, less is more.

Not room from hell; room in hell.
The room was in the basement n an outbuilding. We had to walk from the room approximately a hundred yards to get to the main building and then walk at least another 200 yards to get to an ice machine. We had no chairs on the dirty concrete and no chairs in the room. The tv was very small and if you wanted to watch you had to stand.

Our stay here was amazing. Check in was a breeze and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The park was right beside the hotel and that was convenient. The room was clean and it was spacious. We watched the deer every evening, it was a treat to see. I would highly recommend.

We planned the trip as a golf getaway. Unfortunately the area is under drought conditions. Also on our second day of playbwe had a foursome that refused to let anyone play through, they were the first group out, we were directly behind them, they held up the entire course. It turned into a more than 6 hour round.
