Very dated. Room was not clean. Fridge and coffee maker were in closet-weird. Window leaked. Heat/air was complicated to operate. Not all external doors were set up to access with room key. Not what we expected from the photos on the website. Room pic was pretty accurate but not the rest. In order to access our room thru the lobby we had several hallways and flights of steps. It was confusing.

The room seemed recently rennovated and while it was beautiful a couple things were off. We had two double beds and the "nightstand" between the beds was a table almost unreachable from both, no drawers either. Also, our friends room had a cushion on the window bench and a coat rack, our room had neither. Watch the floor in the shower, it was super slippery (our friends noted the same). That said, the grounds are lovely and staff is very nice!

I was quite skeptical with prior negative reviews. But have to say the decision to stay there was 100 percent enjoyed. Loved the facility. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Gave helpful tips and advice on what was happening in the town. Absolutely recommend to stay here. Will be back soon again

I absolutely loved my stay at the Tarrytown estate.. it’s a beautiful property with old charm with a cottage, the Kings mansion and the Biddle Mansion. The bed in my room was super comfy with super soft sheets. The property is peaceful with lovely outdoor furniture to sit on in front of Kings Mansion. There’s a beautiful Asian/ Cantonese restaurant on the premise located in the mansion called Goosefeather. The gym was also a nice perk, it was clean and had really good equipment. The room was so bright from all the windows with amazing views of the fall foliage and a glimpse of the Hudson River through the trees . There’s also an indoor pool. The property is on a hill, so be prepared to walk up and down hill for parking your car after checking in
