Amazing staff
Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Attended a wedding everything was excellent and very well organised. Only 1 downside pillows were flat and hard but would definitely stay again

Nice spacious rooms, good air conditioning, modern facilities, excellent hot breakfast, and 5 minute walk to catch Stonehenge tour bus on Canal Street. All very central to town pubs, shopping.

I would still recommend staying here, but.....
My wife and I were staying for a rare weekend away, for a friend's wedding. When we arrived the car park was as good as full, but we managed to squeeze in (during our visit we arrived to no spaces in the car park, so it is definitely pot luck as to whether or not you will be able to park). We got to our room and found dirty / ripped cushions on the bed, marks (possibly coffee stains) on the wall and ceiling (bizarrely), dirty marks in the plug hole of the shower, and a brown mark on the wall to the side of the toilet (yes, we assumed it was that too). The reception lady was incredibly apologetic, and sorted these issues out herself. When we ordered room service, we ordered dinner and drinks for each of us and a desert to share. It took a while to be brought up, but 2 very friendly guys brought up our order, except they forgot my wife's food. By the time they arrived back with it, my dinner had gone cold and the lovely evening in together just wasn't the same. The next day however, we popped down for breakfast and it was like a different place altogether. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the offering was amazing, and the quality superb. Overall I would recommend staying here, and we are likely to return. But I'm not sure that it's as premium as it's portrayed.

Really lovely break, room was clean and of a good standard, breakfast option excellent as was the staff. Only downside was the building works and workmen outside our window, a little unsightly and workmen very unexpected. Everything else perfect. Definitely worth a visit, in the centre of the city with everything on your doorstep.

Good location but definitely a cheap room
Hotel location was good and staff friendly. The room had mould in the bathroom which when cleaned daily shouldn't happen. The cleaners made the bed but didn't take the dirty glasses/cups but took the towels even though I hung them up to reuse them (better for the environment)!

Very convenient for visiting the city and area with a useful car park. The room was perfectly good with everything I could want. The courtyard is a beautiful area for afternoon tea or evening drinks but unfortunately during my visit the weather had been terrible 😞 The breakfast menu was good but I just helped myself to cereal and yoghurt- there were plenty of pastries!

Disappointing for a 4 star hotel
The decor is looking very tired; carpets are threadbare in places, some of the furnishings in our room where faulty; coat hook loose, heated towel rail not working. The carparking is particularly annoying; you are charged at check-in but the carpark did not have any free spaces as the workmen building the houses adjacent to the hotel were taking up multiple spaces. Reception staff were not the friendliest, we just seemed to be an annoyance to them when checking in!

Initially not easy to find but once there check in was simple, the staff lovely and so friendly, the room was lovely, very large and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We used the restaurant for our evening meal and while the menu was quite limited there was something each of us liked and the food was very nice and well cooked. Overall we would highly recommend a stay here and would stay again if visiting Salisbury
