We stayed at the AmericInn in Jackson, Minnesota in June on our way to Mayo Clinic. We were just passing through, so we basically just slept & left. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. We would stay there again as a stopping point on our way to Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Very friendly and clean. Hot tub was a bit cool at 75* but after spending the day traveling it felt awesome with the jets. Very quiet and staff made sure of it.

Clean, nice, pet friendly
Very inviting and clean front entry, lobby with indoor pool, bar and large breakfast area. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. 1 night stay with pet - convenient grasy area and by fort belmont for a nice walk.

When I arrived @ 9 PM, I was informed that there wasn't hot water but that it would be restored by midnight. I didn't think it would be a big deal as I wasn't in need of it until the morning. However, in the morning, it was still very cold water. The front desk personnel were completely unsympathetic when I asked for a discount or other consideration. They showed no remorse for the cold water and didn't even offer an apology. They almost appeared to have a smirk on their face about it. The final thing is that when I opened the door to my room, it was very musty-smelling. My immediate thought was, "Where is the mold?" I was tired, and given my experience at the check-in, I didn't waste any time asking for another room. I didn't want to put them out by asking for something.

No hot water. After spending a day outside in the heat and humidity, and covered in oily bug spray, we could not shower before bed as there was no hot water in the hotel at all, and the next morning it still had not been fixed, so we had to check out without showering. The majority of the breakfast items had run out by 7:30 a.m., and there was no coffee at 8:15 a.m.

The room was exceptionally clean and quite large and had a great feel. It had a charging pad for phones and unique decor. The hot tub was large but the jets didnt work well at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast area also very nice and clean.

I wanted to check in at noon since I am a temp employee in the area and will be needing hotels for the next 20 weeks. There was no one else at the hotel but they would not let me check in until 3. I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere. I went into the hot tub and the water stunk. I will not go back there.
