Welcome to Nature's Cottage Washago. This beautiful waterfront property is a one of a kind.

Spend time with family or friends in this beautiful spacious 2,400 sq ft cottage with 100 feet of Waterfront located minutes from the Beautiful Muskoka's on The Green River. Enjoy amazing fishing on the dock in the backyard and catch fish that are coming in from Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe. Or do all of the above while "working from home" by accessing our reliable High Speed internet so you can work during the day and enjoy the beautiful trails, hiking and everything else Washago has to offer. Why work from home when you can work from "Nature's Cottage"?

Beautiful firepit in back yard 15 feet from the water. Relax after a day in the sun. Sit around a beautiful campfire and enjoy the sounds of Nature.

Best cottage vacation
This cottage check off all the things for a fun filled little vacation. We went friends and young kids. The location is less than 2 hours from Toronto. George was a great host. Always replied instantly. Accommodated a few of our requests which made our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage itself was clean and in line with the pictures. Everyone just stayed outdoors in the backyard, on the deck, at the beachy area (this is pretty much the only cottage that had sand where you could just walk off into the water), having fun with canoes and kayaks (all provided) and the large gazebo on the deck. We did not feel the need to explore any surrounding trails, parks etc. The cottage has everything that you need including large driveway/parking, living room, dining room, bed rooms, mud room, accessible garage, backyard, firepit, lower deck with gas drill, upper deck with gazebo, beach, deck, canoes (life jackets). It was a perfect cottage vacation. Will definitely return and highly likely go to other locations with George.

This property was awesome in every way! It was so nice we didn't want to leave for the ski lodge. The swans, ducks, and geese were an added bonus. George, the property owner/manager was very accomodating and you could tell he sincerely wanted us to enjoy our stay. He was very responsive and the home is equipped with everything one needs. This property came as advertised. Was very relaxing sitting on the dock, sitting by the fire and deck. They had comfortable beds and all extras that anyone would need for a vacay. We will defnitely stay there again. Highly recomended!!

Awesome...
The Cottage has fantastic views, the fall there is impressive, and my puppy became a man. He drank my chocolate martini. Note to self don't put your martini on the floor. Anyhow he's okay. I think I'll Come back next year. The bedrooms were huge, and the beds were comfortable. And we got wine for not finding the very visible towels—everything in the kitchen you could need to cook. It was fantastic

Everything you need for a quick vacation
staying at this cottage was the best decision we made, the house was fully stocked with everything you need and very spacious. It was clean and quiet, which was perfect for a nice vacation. Another bonus is that its pet friendly, my dog really loved it there too. Communication with the owner was fast and easy, he was very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice get away as it is only around 2 hours away from Toronto.

An absolutely incredible vacation stay
I had an amazing experience renting this property. The rooms were spacious, there was enough space to accommodate a family of 5 comfortably, the views were absolutely incredible, and the overall experience was just magnificent. The host recommended Scoopz ice cream shop which we had to visit and my group absolutely enjoyed every bite of the ice cream. In the mornings, we walked down to the dock with a cup of coffee, fresh air and it was truly a relaxing experience. The host was easily accessible and the house rules were very clear and detailed. It was very much appreciated. We definitely plan to make this our family vacation spot for future summers. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at this rental property.

George is a fantastic host! Great communication, everything we needed was easily found or stocked. He was in touch with us as needed and everything went exceptionally smooth. We've never used a service like VRBO before and we didn't know what to expect in general. The whole experience was truly great! For once in our life the pictures didn't do the cottage justice! Once you arrive here you'll be more than impressed, as the cottage is far better than the pictures represent! We anticipated a lovely place based on the photos, but we were MORE than surprised!

As first time cottage renters, this was a great experience and would definitely love to return to Nature’s Cottage! The pictures did not lie; what we saw in the advertisement is what we got. Really loved how clean the place was - that was very important for us. Fun on the River.
George's Nature's Cottage is a real find. It is well appointed, clean as a whistle and in a great location. George provides many personal touches like fresh flowers and luxury hotel style amenities. The AC comes in handy on hot muggy days and all rooms are spacious and well suited for adults and children alike. There is great swimming off a beautiful new dock and sandy beach, and even a covered fire pit with lots of fire wood. We had lots of fun in the canoes, row boat and kayak provided. For those who like to play bocce or catch, there's plenty of lawn space. There are several decks or sit out areas and even a balcony off the master bedroom. George is a terrific host and always available when needed. Our family looks forward to returning soon.

The best family vacation.
The nature's cottege is the ideal location for a family who seeks pure comfort, fun and pleasure! It is fully equipped and well maintained. Lots of activities arround if you're into hiking, canoeing, cycling. We stayed mostly at the private water front with the luxurious deck. The host, George Karaolis was welcoming, accessible and provided useful advises for our stay. We will certainly consider returning to this heavenly cottage.

Great Vacation
We had a very pleasant vacation at this property. Checking in was very easy and the place was spotless. The cottage was well stocked with the essentials. There was a nice care package. The outdoor setting was clean and inviting. The waterfront, dock and firepit were all excellent. Other than the kayak paddle needing to be replaced, all of the canoe/kayak gear was great. The landlord responded quickly to a washing machine needing replacing from the previous week. He arranged this quickly and was quite friendly. All-in-all we were quite comfortable and happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this rental. Of note, the river itself is great for paddling!

Very nice lake view cottage
My family booked the cottage on June 23-25. We love the cottage, it’s clean and spacious. George was an excellent host. He responded to our queries quickly. He even gave us a surprised welcome gift. Thank you George. Our stay was so much fun. Waking up looking at at the lake was amazing. The lake was very calm and peaceful. You should tried Canoeing and kayaking in the morning or evening. Thanks again George for a great 2 nights .We will book again and refer to friends your cottage.

Beyond our expectations- Fantastic experience
The Nature's cottage was a fantastic experience from the moment we checked-in till the day we left. George was a remarkable super-host. Everything was provided for us and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We were welcomed with a gift basket as soon as we arrived - we thought that was an amazing touch to start our week. We enjoyed an entire week's stay with 8 people sleeping extremely comfortably. The cottage is uniquely designed where you have many common areas but privacy at the same time. The river is very calming - we were able to canoe & kayak each day. We spent most of our time on the deck & utilizing the large fire pit. Such a beautiful place - I highly recommend this was our family's first cottage all together. We enjoyed it so much we are going to book it again for next year. It was beyond our expectations. :) 6+ stars.

The Perfect Getaway
Our stay was seamless from beginning to end. Our host George was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of. He provided all the extras you would need for a home away from home.
