The staff at the Arden are amazing, especially the breakfast staff. The food is really good, and very good value for money. Extra milk for your room is usually available at reception, the pool is lovely and the hot tub very relaxing! The staff had put a non slip mat in the shower for me, plenty of towels too. Wifi good, and room quiet despite having the windows open all night. Taxi good value too, £7.50 almost to the door of the nec halls. Breakfast as always was amazing, poached and fried eggs cooked to order. The only gripe i have is no cover on the mattress or the pillows. Other than that, a lovely stay.

Checking in we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady that was all pleasant booking us in. Only to find apparently I had two rooms booked. I showed her the confirmation on my Hotels.com app and cleared that up. I’d upgraded to a Superior King Room. Well I’d of hated to see a size of a double room. Went down to the bar and ordered a drink and some food. It wasn’t great and the place just felt like it was draining the life out of me. The decor is very Magnolia and bland. Went up to bed. Room was clean but tired. Breakfast was a little lacking in range unless you were having a Full English. Overall couldn’t wait to get out.

Sliding wooden bathroom door poor fit and clunky sliding mechanism- very dated. Bathroom would benefit from upgrading. Otherwise fairly pleasant with good helpful staff and convenient location for NEC or rail station.

No food available after 11pm
Stayed here before but rather disappointed this time as there was no food available on our return from the event at the NEC. Previously we have been able to get food. We had not been advised at check in. We were advised to go to the petrol station down the road.

Dated room on the 2nd floor over looking the motorway. Not what I expected for just shy of £200 per night! False nails left in the bathroom and floor, not cleaned properly. Breakfast was good at an additional charge and location perfect for NEC but sadly wouldn’t return!

My daughter’s room was lovely mine however crap. Dirty walls peeling paper chips in the woodwork. USB at side of both beds didn’t work. Windows filthy window sill full of dead flies.
