Low rating given ,as when I got the hotel the owner stated I had to contact Expedia. I did contact them, they said that they could not get hold of the hotel to resolve this. I then spoke to the lady at the hotel and told her that Expedia were trying to ring. When I got home I tried ringing the hotel several times, as Expedia had asked for a recepit from the Hotel, which would show I had been charged twice. Got no answer from the hotel after ringing several times, so ended up paying twice.

GRACELANDS Blackpool centre
Great b&b close to centre of blackpool very convenient for local attractions. Free parking outside which is a great bonus. Nice clean room with in room sink and mirror , shared toilets and shower available ...all clean and no issue with sharing. Friendly family run who were very welcoming. Breakfast which was invluded in price was just what i needed the morning after... choice of cereal and cooked full breakfast with coffee/tea ....absolute value for money

Overall, very good. Toilet right next door to room, only us staying on the floor so no bathroom sharing. As an overnight stay in Blackpool you will not go far wrong. Did the job just fine. Would stay again. Parking and breakfast included in the price, bargain.

The hospitality we cannot fault. Food was excellent. We were rather shocked to find that the establishment had two shared toilets, neither of them had hand washing facilities. May we make a suggestion that you provide hand sanitisers in each toilet. The shower was small and does not have an extractor fan. Also not close to the toilet. Gracelands is clearly a family run B&B and has been running successfully for many years. It is dated and tired looking, but clearly it is loved by the family and full of memories of Dave's late wife Sue. Friendly, accomodating people. Parking is limited. A typical old Blackpool B&B.
