Owners and Pip are very lovely. Place is nice and tidy. Right around the corner from all the fun at the front. Fantastic on site parking. Great breakfast in the morning. Room small but perfectly adequate. Shower was impressive, usually not powerful at all in these places. Bed was also comfortable and the 3 of us slept very well. Was very impressed for what I paid. It's a charming little place. Will be first port of call when we return to Blackpool.
this is a lovely quiet and great run hotel enjoyed my stay and would return but felt the bed could do with updating as i didn't get a good nights sleep but really nice good breakfast really friendly and helpful people
We had a lovely pleasant stay. The breakfast was great and John and Joyce very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again in the future
When arriving at the Rio Rita the man greeted us advising us where to park.
Parking was free however extremely tight that we couldn't get into our car again until the other car pulled out.
The room was smaller than we thought, also booked a double and 2 singles for our family of 4 to find it small bunkbeds instead!
The kettle was full of limescale, there was cobwebs everywhere.
The bed.... where do we start, absolutely ROCK hard!! The other family who stayed also mentioned to us about how uncomfortable the beds were.
The breakfast you pre order the night we arrived.... well don't bother! Crap tasteless meat, beans the cheapest.... and unless your there at 9am its luke warm.
The gentlemen was lovely, talkative, welcoming and friendly.... the woman, miserable, rude and very unwelcoming...
Lovely bed and breakfast , couple were lovely and friendly and little pip the dog , would do anything to accommodate us , breakfast was lovely , hotel is in a great location just a couple of streets back from the south pier , would definitely stay here again in the future , lovely light and clean room , just perfect
Very pleasant stay. Owners were very accommodating. We stayed for 4 nights and the service was the same everyday. Breakfasts were very good.

Dissapointing & horrible damp smell !
Sorry to say this B&B was dissapointing. There was a horrible smell of dampness as soon as you entered. The Rooms were so cramped & small once you put your suitcase & any other belongings on the floor very little room to move. Not enough hangers for 2 people & 2 working sockets for charging phones & hair styling tools very outdated for this day & age. Some brickwork fell down on the window ledge & just missed me! There was still some left of it on the open window. The breakfast was ok, i like dogs but their dog was in the dining room & barked a lot which was annoying & if anyone had alergies that wasn't so good. The couple who owned it, the man was pleasant enough but the women was very ignorant towards us ! Only showed her face when we weren't around, as we had went to get our belongings when we where leaving & had to go through the dining area to get to my sons car & she was there standing talking to other residents. I said goodbye to her & she struggled to respond ! Needless to say i would not recommend this place to anyone !
Ticked all the boxes but a bigger cooked breakfast would have given top marks. I dont eat cereals. But they done whatever you asked and were very helpful on where best places to eat and entertainment.
Excellent stay and very good value! Room was small but very clean, good shower and excellent cooked breakfast. The owners are very helpful and helped us get parked at the back of the property. Central location near the south pier.
we arrived and as we entered the property at the front door there was an instant musky smell as you entered, they have a dog which barked a LOT, and was even allowed into the dining area in the mornings as we had our breakfast, the dog barked a lot as we had breakfast and owners just seem to accept that their dog barked, I for one like to have a peaceful early morning breakfast and couldent finish my food quickly enough so as to get out again, also my wife and myself like an afternoon nap, alas dog was barking all the time so could hardly have an hours sleep in the afternoon.
Our stay at the Rio Rita was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. B and very clean comfortable and warm. Breakfast was first class. Will definitely be recommending and returning.
Stayed at the Rio Rita for two nights, Janice and John were very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
