First room was very average and uninviting particularly the rollout bed that resembled a hospital stretcher. Purchased the upgraded room which presented much better however bathroom door handle failed locking my wife in for 20 minutes causing all sorts of stress (a big thank you to your maintenance man). Construction noise ran well into Friday night and resumed very early Saturday morning. After a late work function and little sleep we left early. Feel free to contact me to discuss. Have stayed in a number of hotels / apartments in Brisbane and this might be one of the worst. Apartments are definitely in dire need of some renovation. Arrived to find the freezer left open and a big pool of brown water all over the floor, even after closing the freezer the fridge continued to leak. The carpet was dirty and stained and the air conditioning was not working correctly. When I tried to check out in the morning at check out time there was noone at the reception desk and no dropbox to leave keys. Had to just leave the key on the desk and hope that was okay. The location is good but currently there are major civil works nearby that make it not ideal. There is much better accommodation available in this price range. Stay at the sebel / meriton / oaks.

Due to to being fully booked we may have got an older room. Was fairly dated and cupboards had missing veneer. Both sofa's had had crumbs and white debris all over them, had to brush it off before use. The rest of the hotel was extremely modern and staff were very friendly. Would stay again in newer rooms.

The unit we rented was independently owned but the carpet was so grubby and stained that the occupants were uncomfortable. There was a table placed over a huge stain, a table was damaged - the wood was separating as if it had been water damaged. The unit itself was clean but the condition of the floor and damage to the furniture spoiled the occupants time there. The communication from the staff was good however they were fully booked so could not move to another apartment. This was a gift for one of our staff members who has been going through a tough time and disappointing to know they had this issue during their stay.

I booked three rooms for over the weekend, 1 of the rooms were lovely and had a car space with it which was very convenient as we were travelling in a group. The two other rooms were dark little boxes with little light and ventilation and were over priced for what they were and we had no parking spaces for these two rooms or our cars which then led to us driving around in peak hour looking for parking in an unfamiliar city. Adding more cost to our stay and had us running late to the event we were there for. We will not be staying again.
