The pictures for this accommodation leave you with the impression that the place is well cared for and immaculate when it comes to cleanliness. The pictures do not lie. Upon our arrival, the owner had just finished doing some outdoor painting and property maintenance ensuring the property is always in tip-top shape and picture-perfect condition. During our two-day stay, the hostess was enjoyable to spend time with as she helped us to become familiar with local areas of interest and also shared a few personal stories so when we were leaving on our final day we felt as though we were saying goodbye to an old friend. She was very friendly and made us feel welcome during the entire stay. We will definitely go back.

Our hostess was very hospitable, as was her Yorkie! We arrived and the deck looking at the sea welcomed us! Walked the nearby boardwalk to get homemade ice cream! The bed, breakfast, and company were great!

The hostess was as nice as she could be - even got up early to make us an excellent breakfast (including home-made jelly on toast). The house was spotless. The mattress was firm and the linens top shelf. We had expected the coast to be more scenic there, and we were surprised that there was only one bathroom for three bedrooms.

The perfect place to enjoy southern Nova Scotia. I love Hawk Beach: the sand, the calmness, sand dune grass blowing in the wind, green blue waves crash gently ashore, and wisps of sand whisper by with the wind. At the B&B you can enjoy a friendly host who will boil up some fresh lobster if you like, a clean and comfortable home, and 2 other rooms to meet other travellers. You can enjoy the sunset from the B&B deck or a little bench at the end of the road by the sea. I will be going back and bringing friends!

Wonderful stay. The owner very kindly arranged for transportation to a nearby island for us and also phoned to make our dinner reservations. When one restaurant unexpectedly closed one night she texted us and arranged for another dinner reservation. We enjoyed the warmth and friendliness of our stay and would whole heartedly recommend it to others. A great place to stay for anyone looking for a stay by the ocean in a location not completely overrun by tourists.

This is a wonderful little bed and breakfast. Everything is kept very clean and breakfast is excellent. The bed was also quite comfortable. It's a small place, with only two rooms, but Kim the owner, and her little dog Zoee are excellent hosts. Ask Kim for a lobster boil if you like lobster. Also, we highly recommend having her arrange a boat ride over to the Cape (a little island off of Cape Sable Island, that has a light house on it). It's a special little place that typically doesn't have anyone on it.

We enjoyed our stay at Kim's place so much and felt welcome right at the start! Her home is lovely, we had great conversations and the breakfast was simply delicious! We even got to try our very first lobster...We won't ever forget that experience!! :-) We'll definitely come back next time in Nova Scotia!
