3 stars is generous and based on location. No doubt this place was great 35 years ago however the rooms are old, dated, in somewhat disrepair (mismatched door handles, bad shower head, no room service, etc) makes it very hard to justify the cost plus hotel services fee. There has been litter from nearby restaurants sitting at the front door for three days with lots of staff walking by it. Hotel grounds are not well kept and overly littered for a resort. We stayed in the east tower serviced by one elevator. The second one has been under maintenance for atleast 4 days, never saw a maintenance team. Family pool was closed for a while dealing with a "dookie" issue, temperature never recovered. The gym had not been updated since the cold war and only opens at 9am although i cant say i saw any staff anywhere enforcing any of the hotel rules. Parking is terrible, atleast have the lines repainted so drivers can maybe park straight and perhaps a better exit from the building to get to the parking lot. Post multi lingual signs instead of having young staff getting frustrated with foreign tourists who's first language is clearly not English. The quiet pool is far from quiet but pretty sure most occupants can't read the signs. The big bonus to this place and the reason to come is the location. The waterpark across is a blast and the restaurants are decent.

I was disapointed it was so family oriented. For me its not really a relaxing spa with kids running around. My bad i should have researched more, but even once ther it says all pools adult only after 10 pm. That doesnt happen very disappointed...make a rule enforce it.

We've been going to Harrison Hot Springs over the past 42 years. It has had it's ups and downs. The pools are clean and well maintained. The older section of the hotel is charming. The staff are friendly, courteous and hard working. The exercise room needs updating and there are little things not attended to like not watering plants , not straightening out walking mats and not cleaning air vents. These are small things, but it makes us wonder.

Compared to other hot springs and spa, the resort is rundowned in need to be renovated and deep cleaned. Carpets are old and dirty and there is a bit of a smell. The staff weren't pleasant. The value for what we paid wasn't there. I wouldnt stay there again.

The hotel was really busy, they didnt have a parking spot for us upon arrival. One elevator was broken down so It was quite a wait to get to my room. The room was large but very outdated. The hotel was very noisy and the walls seemed paper thin. We came there to relax and it was hard to with all the noise. But the pools were very nice and after the first night people started to leave and it became quieter and we finally had room to go swimming without being surronded by people. The staff was nice and helpful

There aren't many options available in the area with this one having the added benefit of the hot springs. The rooms and facilities are quite dated for the price. It is nice to have a couple of dining options in the hotel. All the lake activities also take place right in front of the resort making it a great location. The rooms doesn't hold sound well and we had quite a lot of noise from our neighbors that were struggling with their child late at night (beyond the hotel's control). The staff was friendly and helpful. I think having fresh towels available by the pools like most resorts would be a more efficient method than having to request dry towels. Our room after discount was about $350/night, for what you get it should not be more than $250 in my opinion.
