I will start with the negatives - Bathroom dirty, visible tide marks in the sink and hairs in the shower. no milk for compliment tray. Unfortunately due to time restrictions I picked up the key but didn’t view the room until I returned after the pub had closed. Breakfast was ok, the staff were friendly enough. The building is lovely and full of character

I enjoyed staying in this listed building - hope they don't 'improve' it too much! Very comfortable bed, nice ensuite though shower a bit shabby. Didn't care for the evening food in the pub though breakfast was fine.

Red Lion Review
There was building works ongoing whilst we were there with scaffolding around the building. This created dust in our room. The car park and most of the hotels bars were not in use. There were no dining facilities. The Shower tray had black mould around it. The shower cubicle looked old and tatty and in need of replacement. We did not use it. The towels were clean and fluffy and the staff very friendly.
