The hotel is nice, the rooms are fine. Although the lift is the slowest lift I have ever been in.
Some of the reception staff were a little unwelcoming, a bit grumpy - a smile would help. I was made to feel an inconvenience asking some of them for help.
My room was very cold, I mentioned it twice and nothing was done until the third time After another cold night, I had to insist on something being done. I was eventually given another room which was fine.
My towels were not changed, so when I returned to my room on Thursday evening I had dirty wet towels on my bathroom floor. I had to ask for them to be changed. When I returned that night, new towels were on my bed, but the wet dirty towels were still on my bathroom floor! Not great attention to basic detail.
I was refused an invoice when checking out, with seemingly little effort to provide a solution, which caused me inconvenience and time to try to request one when I arrived back in the UK Here's the email response I got, which makes little sense to man nor beast.

I would stay again, but it would have to be a hugely improved service for me to stay a third time and beyond.
I will be traveling to Chisinau frequently in 2023.
