Absolute nightmare. Owner was the worst person I have ever dealt with. So bad that i left 2 days early. Pool is dirty and cracked all over. Water in hot tub looks brown. Do not go to this property it is not worth the money.

The beds were aweful. The room was so dusty my asthma was triggered. The potholes were so aweful, it looks like the property hadnt been cared for in YEARS. Litterly felt like i was pulling into a haunted hotel when i first arrived. The parking like aside from the holes were dangerous, no signa, no anything and cars just driving around aimlessly. It looks like it was a beautiful place many moons ago but today is barely operational. Id like to add that quilt were musty, sink was dirty, hole in the wall covered with packing tape, only 1 working lamp there was no other lighting at all. Fridge hardly worked and no one was ar the desk this morning to even conplain too. Id like my money back please.

Overall, the stay was ok. They do offer a nice getaway for the price paid for. The reason I have a two star review is because the owner showed a poor level of professionalism at times as well a bad attitude.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful. The room was clean which is a must. This is not the most up to date remodeled establishment, but that is not important to me. Everything was clean and we had what we needed! The price point for the area was what I was comfortable with for the weekend. My son loved the hot tub! I would definitely stay again if I am back in the area.

The hotel is off the beaten path but clean, comfortable, in a scenic location and the staff was top notch. Its old, but much more reasonably priced then the big names. I travel for a living so if you want a great value, look no further. I felt safe, the other guests were great as well. It is a very different setup then you are most likely used too. If you are expecting the Waldorf, take it down a bit. Donā€™t spend two to three times more when this place is 90% as good. It has wooden floors so they make a bit of noise but that is a very, very minor issue. Nice bathroom, hot water, clean, etc. also an indoor pool. It is attached to a cool old big hotel that I wanted to ask to see inside..:) Maybe next time as I would love to see a few of the rooms. Recommended!

Quiet, peaceful, great location, budget friendly
Excellent stay and budget friendly for a busy fall weekend in the Poconos. A comfortable alternative to other very expensive hotels on a Saturday night. Nice hilltop location, very quiet. Walking distance to multiple nice restaurants and coffee shops. Close to the AT for hikers, great hotel passing thru for motorcycles as you can park right at room. Very satisfied with the stay, thank you!

I thought what else can you get for $60.00. Just needed a place to spend the night. But when I went to brush my teeth before bed there wasnā€™t hot water. Plus the reception dude kept creeping up around the room. When I opened the door at 6:15 next morning he was outside like really weird.

My room was clean and simple with a new floor and mattress, but with some old lamps and a spastic Tv set. My friendā€™s room needed some work. The place looks like it is slowly getting renovated and over time it should be better.

We had a poor experience at this motel. The gentleman who checked us itā€™s was very pleasant but thatā€™s about where the positive points end. The room we got had mold in the shower and sink. The paint in the bathroom ceiling was peeling off and the light fixture had dead bugs in it. The blankets smelled like cheap perfume. There were hairs on the linens and towels; red and black- my whole party has brown hair. The lights were covered in dust. And the smoke alarm was missing. The entire property is dated for sure. I canā€™t knock em for that. The mini fridge in our room looked older than I am and it took well over a day to get cold (it was unplugged when we entered the room ). Very disappointing as we were traveling with a baby who needs her milk kept cold. One of the two beds was unusable. It completely sank in the middle. The other bed was fine and the pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Big and firm, not those faux fluffy ones that collapse to nothing when you put your head on it. We got the impression the property is in the middle of you updating. Our room had wood floors which was a happy surprise! And the TV was modern with a large option of channels. Free wifi is available with decent connection. We did not enjoy that the lock and chain on our door looked like it had been tampered with in the past. When we ordered delivery, our delivery driver expressed he didnā€™t realize the motel portion was even still in service anymore as he frequently delivers to the rental
