We had a poor experience at this motel. The gentleman who checked us it’s was very pleasant but that’s about where the positive points end. The room we got had mold in the shower and sink. The paint in the bathroom ceiling was peeling off and the light fixture had dead bugs in it. The blankets smelled like cheap perfume. There were hairs on the linens and towels; red and black- my whole party has brown hair. The lights were covered in dust. And the smoke alarm was missing. The entire property is dated for sure. I can’t knock em for that. The mini fridge in our room looked older than I am and it took well over a day to get cold (it was unplugged when we entered the room ). Very disappointing as we were traveling with a baby who needs her milk kept cold. One of the two beds was unusable. It completely sank in the middle. The other bed was fine and the pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Big and firm, not those faux fluffy ones that collapse to nothing when you put your head on it. We got the impression the property is in the middle of you updating. Our room had wood floors which was a happy surprise! And the TV was modern with a large option of channels. Free wifi is available with decent connection. We did not enjoy that the lock and chain on our door looked like it had been tampered with in the past. When we ordered delivery, our delivery driver expressed he didn’t realize the motel portion was even still in service anymore as he frequently delivers to the rental

My husband and I arrived at this motel around 3:45pm. Our room wasn't ready, and they didn't have another one available. We were told they would call us when our room was ready. Not apology or explanation. So we left and just drove around for maybe 20 minutes and then they finally called. After finally getting into our room it was VERY clear this was not what was described or wanted. The bed was seriously so awful and uncomfortable it was reason enough to never stay here again. So so disappointing :(or wanted

Came to get out of the rain from camping but would have preferred staying camping after one night here. Very strong smell of mildew it permeates everything including your clothes/hair. Files/bugs in the room which is not surprising given the picture below you can see the outside through the door. The person behind the front desk was wonderful and he was very helpful but not the place for us.

These low reviews are for people who don’t belong at a place like this! It’s quaint and not modern and felt like my family’s property in the Poconos! I’m going to be making this a go to for any and all activities within van hour of here totally worth the cost and could bring my dog so it worked out perfectly!

The owner is really sweet and nice. The rooms are really spacious. It could use bit updating but it is already really great in my view. Easy parking infront of the door. Only down side is thatthe walls are thin. But if can be considered to neigbors its not big point. Would love to come again

AVOID THIS PLACE I FELT UNSAFE AND FELT THAT MY LIFE MAY BE IN DANGER It was a mistake to book at Glennwood inn and conference center. first of all it’s not an inn or a conference center it’s misleading to start with. The whole area is very sketchy and the photos don’t look anything like the actual place. The main building is boarded and unsafe, the actual rooms are in these barrack like buildings. I felt very unsafe so tried to cancel the booking via Expedia but the owner refused. The person at the reception was very very rude. It seemed a lot of shady deals were going down. When we first pulled in, we were alarmed. The entrance ran by a dilapidated falling down abandoned building at the front of the property. The occupied part is a series of wood sided barrack looking units that are in disrepair. The room itself was clean and the sheets comfortable, but there was a strong musty smell. We left the window open while we went to dinner and plugged in an air freshener; both of which helped. But the bed was hard and squeaky when i sat down on it. Im not a big person, but i would imagine a larger person might be bothered through the night. There was little light, with only one small bedside lamp and one over sink. While the fixtures were old, they all worked fine. Take yoir own tissues for your nose, as they offer none. Toilet paper was one-ply, so it didnt hold up well to a nose blowing. So, its very basic. Paint on the bathroom ceiling was peeling off. I did get my sleep, but its definitely a low budget one night stay.

I can’t figure out why people like the Poconos. Nothing has been updated since the 1970’s. This place was clean and the owner was super pleasant, but, like everywhere else in the Poconos, everything was very out of date. While it was comfortable enough and clean enough, the only lock was the push button type on my doorknob. No deadlock or anything else. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe and actually jammed a chair up against the doorknob.
