Hotels on the Lake in Taiwan

We got a great deal for two night, superior room with West side balcony view of Taipei. The room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The historical hotel is quite large and beautiful inside and out. Location is a bit far from downtown tourist areas but the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the MRT red line. We also had dinner at Yuan Yuan and cocktails at Meet bar. Service in both places was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had a great stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well designed. Bedding was comfortable and housekeeping makes your room every other day, unless otherwise specially requested. Amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. Head to the nearby DonDonki to pickup some bath powder to enjoy the lovely Japanese style bath/shower room combo. On site laundry was readily available, as was coffee, tea and water in the lounge area past reception. Breakfast at the hotel was decent, but there are also several soy milk shops in the area serving local breakfast that is very easy for foreigners. The location is very convenient and I would definitely stay here again.
