The young woman with long hair who works the front desk in the morning is great. I wasn’t impressed with the evening staff. I asked for items I needed and they didn’t send them. When I finally went downstairs they got me the towels and Tp but didn’t speak to me. I felt like I’d disturbed them. Not steller.

Pleasant stay
We always enjoy our stays at The Varscona, but would really like the hotel to replace the in-room coffee makers; they are awful. I would recommend a regular Keurig machine.

When arriving, went to wash my hands and as I grabbed a towel, I noticed a blood stain on the towel. Upon further inspection I had found more stains on the curtains and sheets. The room was fine, no microwave or ice machine on our floor which wasn’t convenient at all. Honestly I would’ve had a great stay if our room would have been cleaner!

Nicer . Hotel does show its age and may need a remodel sooner then later . But its clean.. right on white ave. Surprised with the 20$ a day parking and 15$ breakfast charge . Its in the fine text but felt they were trying to nickel and dime me

outdated building, homeless hanging around outside, the lobby smelled like deep frier most likely from restaurant in the hotel. Vents need to be cleaned or replaced. Work out room is a former guest room and looks it, plus one of the 3 work out machines was broken

The elevator requires you to use your key card to get to your floor, I don’t think it was working that way though? I very unkempt man was wondering around my floor (6th) and I watched him walk around the hallways and not go into a room. It made me feel a little uneasy when I ran down to get ice and he was just standing in the hallway near my room. The smell was… unpleasant as well. Other than that the stay was great and staff were awesome.
