The only issue I have is the expectation to pay for parking. I don’t think if you’re staying at any hotel you should be expected to pay for parking on top of a room charge!

Excellent service from the super friendly and helpful receptionist. The room was spacious with an incredibly comfortable bed and luxurious feeling bedding.Very effective blackout curtains. Great shower, plenty of hot water and good quality toiletries provided. Perfect location and looking beautifully festive. We will return!

The horel is in an excellent location for shopping and eating in Exeter and is opposite Exeter Central station.

The bedroom wasnt the cleanist. Marks on the pillows (they were claen though) the matress proctector was stained. The carpet was bare/worn in places. Tea/cofee stains on the wall near the bin. The room had an adjoining door to the next room and you could hear everything.

A quite loud humming type noise on and off right through the night kept waking me. Heating unit on the roof or something similar maybe? Staff were great and very friendly. The location was perfect, very central.

The hotel itself was fine. But paid for 2 nights, but person booking us in only added us for 1 night. Had to go to the desk to get key card reset on day 2. Parking charge paid on arrival, but again there was an error, so had to pay further £12.50 when checking out. Shower gel dispenser empty on arrival. Not enough towels for 2 guests. No proper bath mat, had to use a towel on the floor slippery & dangerous. Not worth its 4 star rating
