Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Very nice setting within close range of Yosemite but not in the park itself. Dining options were not great, but worked, we used a cabin for our family which we all loved but wish there was a pool that was closer to get to so we didn't have to drive to it.

We liked it. Very convenient for visiting Yosemite. Good facilities for families. The only thing we did not like is the noise of the air conditioning units from the outside that prevented us to keep the windows open at night to get fresh air in. Would still stay again here.

love this lodge! super close to the entrance of yosemite and such a nice atmosphere to relax after a long day in the parks. good dining options and even had s’mores pits for us!

For the most part excellent customer service, marred by An incident where it seemed like a young female staff member at the Jackloupe’s reception had a hard time believing a brown family could be staying at the place. Personal highlight was a massage (ask for Claudia). Food for the most part is ‘meh’. Avoid the barbecue- food is bad, prices are high and there are yellow jackets to keep you company. Walls are paper thin, my head literally bounced off the head board when someone in the next room slammed against their wall. Outdoor pool area is jam packed so we stayed away, but there is an indoor pool that tends to be less crowded.

Nice lodge located super close to the south entrance (only 10 minutes with no traffic if you leave for the park by 8am or earlier). Negatives: *bathrooms feature sliding barn style doors which offer little privacy because of the fairly large gap it leaves. Anyone using the outer sink can see you sitting on the toilet and hear everything. *no vending machines even the floors have a space that say ice and vending. You have to buy any snacks or drinks at their store. *the website advertised free telescope star gazing but the staff didn’t know anything about it and it never came out. They need to remove that activity from their website. *rooms were nice BUT they didn’t have a microwave and the bed sank to the point where I felt like I was about ready to fall off at night. *pool bar closed way early due to under staffing Overall it was a good stay. Food was way way overpriced and average. Drinks were good at the restaurant. Tons of kids in the adults only pool.
