One of five charming cabins set just 4 miles from the center of downtown Fredericksburg, you and a guest will love the ability to relax in the scenic Texas Hill Country and then take a short drive to town. Enjoy a king bed, large bathroom, kitchenette with full sized refrigerator, and pleasant private deck featuring a hot tub and electric grill all to yourself. In addition, Live Oak Creek is just off of your doorstep, so a day could easily be spent fishing, paddle boating, or swimming. There is also a bar at the entrance to the property.

The home is pet friendly and does not have a limit on the number of dogs that you can bring. However, there is a pet fee of $38/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. If you bring more than one dog and do not let us know, you will be charged accordingly. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

Please keep in mind that, since there are four other cabins on the property, they may be occupied by other guests during your stay. Furthermore, there are RV hookups, so other guests might be utilizing those as well.

Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

Nice getaway
My husband and I wanted to get away for our one year anniversary. This was our first time traveling out to Fredericksburg and we loved it! We enjoyed our own cabin with the hot tub and enjoyed the sightseeing of animals including deer and goats/sheep. We would definitely book this cabin again!

Perfect!
Place was perfect! Close to Main St where the wineries are. Nick's place has the perfect view of stars while sitting in HotTub. The bed was comfortable. And all questions were answered. We will be back.

Nice clean place for a couple. Too many rentable trailers on the property for my taste.
If you are familiar with some nice cabins on Usener Road, this is not them. They are clean and staff is extremely attentive but they are not in a secluded environment.

Perfect Texas Getaway
The cabin was exactly as pictured, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and all of the fun, food, and wine nearby. The bar at the front of the property was a hoot: great food, cold beer, live music, and the cutest little goat running around that I’ve ever seen. This was the perfect Texas Hill Country getaway!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the cabin named Nick’s Place again this weekend and had a another wonderful stay. The check in process is seamless, the cabin is clean and the property is well maintained. Our cabin was clean and well equipped for a weekend stay. The bed is extremely comfortable! We grilled steak out back, climbed Enchanted Rock, shopped in Fredericksburg, sat in the hot tub. Can’t wait to come back.

We had an excellent time at Nick's Cabin! Everything was perfect. the cabin was very clean and the deck and hot tub were great! We also stopped for dinner Friday Night at the Restaurant/Bar at the entrance and really enjoyed that as well! I also liked meeting mini pearl the pig! We will be back and I will be sending people your way. I am a travel agent in Dallas and look for great properties like this to recommend my customers....

Peace and quiet a stones throw from Fredericksburg
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on our first kid free date night in nearly 2 years. The cabin is great, the private hot tub is awesome and the view of the river from it is so relaxing. The interior is very clean, comfortable and quiet.

Wife and I really enjoyed our stay. There's a bar and grill by the front gate. It wasn't open when we stayed as it was Monday and Tuesday, so it may get a little loud, but seems like a good time and it might not really be audible in the cabin. Cabin also is only a couple hundred yards from the highway so you can kinda hear cars if on the porch. Overall would recommend and probably stay again

Wonderful stay in cozy cabin
My boyfriend and I came for the weekend and had a wonderful, romantic stay in this cozy little cabin. The hot tub was a plus, the sheep roaming the property were a hoot to watch. It was quiet and peaceful, loved the lightening bugs in the evening. The bed was super comfortable with nice bedding and we slept great. The kitchen and bathroom areas were clean with plenty of towels. We look forward to coming back!!!

Quaint cabin in great location!
Cabin was perfect for 2 for a long weekend. Enjoyed the live band at the onsite cafe. Great view of the river and enjoyed the hot tub! Five minutes from downtown, so great location.

Cute cottage
We booked Nick’s cabin for a anniversary weekend away. The cottage is close to Main Street and is a good size. The private hot tub was the reason we booked this unit. We loved that Nick’s cabin was the last unit in the complex, we got to enjoy watching deer and sheep from the hot tub. A few negatives: 1. Not enough towels, 4 towels wasn’t enough for showering and the hot tub. Luckily we had 2 beach towels. It poured the whole weekend we were there, the towels didn’t dry at all overnight hanging in the bathroom. Bathrobes would be great, it was chilly when we got out of the hot tub. 2. No WiFi. There is direct tv but no WiFi. We barely had phone coverage with Verizon which is unusual. 3. While I understand The cottage is pet friendly, I was hoping the cleaning company would have cleaned up better after previous tenants with dogs. there was long black dog hair all over the bathroom floor and on the white comforter. 4. Book travel insurance!!!! We had an issue and contacted the property they advised we would lose 100% of our booking. we couldn’t make it out Friday night due to a sickness with a family member who was to babysit our kids, and due to the 2 night minimum we lost out on Friday night. Overall it was a great night away. Cute romantic little place to getaway.
