Not a great stay but not their fault. Would not recommend for the elderly or walking difficulties as many steps to get to most rooms.

Great service even when things go wrong
Lovely staff and room was clean basic twin room. I had an issue with the radiator not turning off and unfortunately there was not another room for me to move to. However they did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible and refunded me for one nights stay. The food at the pub was great and the breakfast excellent.

Just really dirty hotel, almost shockingly so. Staff are friendly enough but the cleaning staff are non existent. Breakfast is left out for the duration so if you don’t mind sharing your food with fruit flies or whatever else may fall on it, then you’re ok (literally just a bit of cling film would solve this issue)

The property was good but would benefit from a refresh. The staff were excellent and really helpful. The food was also very good. My only complaint is aimed at Expedia (not the hotel) - I needed to make changes to my booking but despite hotel staff efforts we failed. Next time, I will book directly with the hotel.

The TV in my room didn’t work and there was no where to plug in the aerial. Bar staff were ok pretty standard for a budget hotel. The beer was good and the food was alright so no grumbles. Overall for a swift visit for business I was quite happy as it was a place to lay my head but if I was on holiday here. I’d be unhappy. Good if you are travelling for work and have no interest in the place.
