Stay over new years

The hotel was located close to the beach, lots of activities if you wanted to participate. The elevators were being worked on which was pretty much a nightmare the few days around new years. Our room was cleaned everyday, pool area was kept very clean as well

Elevator wait each time was 10-15 minutes. The repairs being done were not disclosed in advance. There was zero compensation(perhaps even one night’s resort fee?) very disappointing Will never stay again

Elevators are generally out of service making it difficult to access to room. Additionally we had reservations for a king bed with ocean view but there was none available and we had to make do with a room with 2 Double beds.

NYE stay

I checked in early the day ahead of our stay thru a text message. The day of our reservation, I received a text around 11:30am saying our room was ready! Arriving at the valet, they were very understanding of my need to leave the car for a bit while I helped by 90 y.o. mom into the lobby. They grabbed our bags and moved them to bell service who provided a call tag to present to the front desk. Check in was quick and efficient, we even got a free upgrade, and we were upstairs in no time! Room was clean and comfortable. Everyone we came in contact with were friendly, polite, and helpful. The only issue we had was with the mini fridge in the room. It didn't quite keep things cold but we were there for only one night so no complaint was made. I would highly recommend staying here.

Rooms are much smaller than other hotels like the Hyatt. Elevators were not working and there were long waits. They claim to have overbooked the hotel.

This hotel not by any means is new, but, they do keep it in very great shape. The staff is probably one of the best we've experienced. So very friendly, polite and eager to assist. They answered questions and gave directions to all interesting areas. The location is in the center of Waikiki with the Moana Surfrider (one of the oldest hotels in the state) across the street. The International Market Place right next door with a Target store in the complex. Shopping around the hotel is pricey, but good to look around and people watching. I would stay at the Princess Kaiulani again.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in at the very best It’s a motel, not even a two star rating. It is very noisy at night and hard to get a good night sleep. Be prepared to wait for the elevator for over 20 minutes each time. Also the carpets and flooring are quite worn out. To be precise do not expect much at this place you will be better of booking a room elsewhere. This facility is not in keeping with Sheraton standards. Such a shame!

"I paid for 2 beds and I only got one" That was all I had to say and the phone staff and manager provided a very generous comp. Otherwise we would have been fuming. The girl who checked us in, however, didn't even notice or mention the fact. Din't get her name but she was fairly pretty and most definitely snooty. In terms of room/view, old remodeled building, small room and cery crappy garage view. Cleanliness is good. We did check in very late after attending a dinner/show package at PCC. Excellent restaurant staff, excellent building location close to beach/inside waikiki. My brother in another room complained 2 of the elevators were broken at his wing. This is Hawaii. This is pretty decent for what it is. Grateful the phone staff/manager were professionals.

great location and next to international market. One thing needs improment on is the elevator is super slow at time.

The location is superb. Very convenient. Access to rooms are difficult via lifts due to being repaired.
