The property was fine; clean, broadly comfortable, well situated, stylish if that’s something that’s important to you. Annie was helpful, providing laundry detergent on the first evening when there was none provided in the cottage. It’s worth noting there was also no stove top or plunger for coffee and no grater in the kitchen if those things are important to you. The drawbacks were: 1) the wifi didn’t work. This was a problem because our party was from overseas and didn’t all have Australian SIM cards. This didn’t seem to be a one off issue but rather an ongoing problem for the property. It also meant the one night we opted for a home movie to allow one of our party to recover from a bug, the smart tv wasn’t working. 2) the look and feel of the cottage is historic. It’s stylish but meant the beds with their metal footboards were a little small for the occupants. We were two people ~5’11” and one 6’2” and we all experienced our feet up against the end of the bed during the night. Overall the property was fine but given a more inviting, cosier option with functioning wifi, I’d choose that next time.

Stunning property and great service

Enjoyed the character of the building. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Car park is away, but got use to it, and great price per night. The staff made New Years Eve special, aways cheerful.

This property is ideally located for tourism, especially if your don't have a car, being near Brooke Pier, the starting point of most excursions and the stop of the airport SkyBus. From there, you can walk easily to everywhere around the Waterfront and Salamanca place, with its many pubs, restaurants and eateries, and its weekend market. The Taste festival was also on the Harbour front. The Museum and Mawsons'huts are also very near. The apartment itself was OK. The kitchenette made it easy to eat a snack or have a cup of tea or coffee. There was a large TV screen and all main channels available. The internet connection was very good. The bathroom was clean and everything in working condition. There were two arm chairs and the room was spacious. The bed however was not comfortable and the view from our room was on an office building, but we could pull a blind. There was no way to open the window but the air-conditioning was fine.

Second visit for us. Very nice accommodation, staff are super friendly especially the ladies who do the room servicing. Cannot fault this property on any level.
