Great stop over hotel in Istanbul
I had a stop over in Istanbul for one night, so just literally needed a hotel for a single night, with the intention of spending the next day around the city. I have been to Istanbul many times, so was familiar with the area etc. I picked this hotel because it is close to the metro and tram facilities. It took longer than expected to get in from the new airport, so I didn't check in till midnight this was not a problem. They were expecting me, and in moments I had my key card and was shown to my room. Size wise the room was totally fine, as I said I just needed a few hours of sleep and get ready for an early start. All the features as specified, fridge, air con etc. In the morning I had the breakfast, was good pretty much what I was expecting. Had some toast and tea and was ready to get going.

Take a pair of pliers with you if you want showers
Checked into this place and they had a rating of 8.0, I donā€™t know how. Service desk was rude, gave them an average rating only because i heard people are rude in Istanbul compared to the rest of Turkey. Elevator was too small the person showing us the room, took the stairs with only 2 of us.place was dirty and noisy. In the morning I got up to take a shower and the diverter from normal faucet to had shower is stuck in place and I couldnā€™t get it to work so I didnā€™t get to take a shower. If you need a hammer and a toolbox to take a shower, maybe stay away. Room number 102.

ƀ notre arrivĆ©e tard, le soir, on a Ć©tĆ© reƧu par le rĆ©ceptionniste qui nā€™Ć©tait pas sympa, Ils ont tardĆ© Ć  nous donner les clĆ©s, plus on a Ć©tĆ© accompagnĆ©s par le rĆ©ceptionniste dans notre chambre. Par contre la tĆ©lĆ©vision ne fonctionnait pas. Pourtant, cā€™Ć©tait prĆ©cisĆ© sur la description de la rĆ©servation, tĆ©lĆ©vision inclus, la tĆ©lĆ©vision ne marchait pas. On a informĆ© le rĆ©ceptionniste, mais il nā€™a rien fait au au retour. La douche Ć©tait sale et y avait quelques cheveux Ć  lā€™intĆ©rieur intĆ©rieur. ƉnormĆ©ment de bruit le soir on entend tous ce qui se passe dans les autres chambres, et mĆŖme dans le couloir. Le lendemain matin, on sā€™est prĆ©cipitĆ© de changer dā€™hĆ“tel pour notre confort.

Never again.
This is a very run down hotel in an area where most people don't like to go out in the evening. This part of the city is very busy with workers transporting/carrying packages of clothing. The only reason for staying here is that it is near the IDO ferry which departs early in the morning but there are better hotels in the neighborhood which I'd rather stay at next time.
