House keeping knocked twice then barged in my room at 9:30 am, we were totally naked, didnā€™t give me time to respond , I called the front desk to complain ! Difficult room navigation
The front desk agents were amazing and incredibly friendly as they accommodated my concerns to the best of their abilities. My initial room was placed next to an elevator shaft which could be heard 24/7, although great view and cleanliness. I was moved down several floors to a smaller room and had difficulties with the bathroom (shower knob fell off), the balcony door would not open unless forced, and the AC was very hard to switch gears. I have had very good rooms in the past and will be returning back despite the blunders.

Old and drafty!
It is a very old and drafty hotel. The reception area is beautiful but the room we booked and the alternate room we were offered both facing the river, had great views but we're drafty and noisy. The doors to the balcony had about an inch gap in it. We could not stay there and moved on. Now the refund we were promised is slow in coming back to us. Terrible shame as he location and views are great.

I received a deal on this hotel through Expedia, so all in all it was absolutely worth what I paid for. The room was clean but dated. Itā€™s obvious some of the furniture suffered water damage at some point, and the balcony door didnā€™t open. The ice machine was broken. The hotel has easy access to the Riverwalk and is walkable to some dining options and the Skyway, so getting around Jacksonville was a breeze. At the rate I paid, I definitely would stay again. But not for full price.

The room has two twin beds. That super cheap for s so called high end hotel. The blanket on the bed was dirty. There was mold over near the balcony. You can hear all the noise from outside . Ice machines on three different floors did not work. Other than the location it was a bad stay.

This hotel is in terrible need of renovation. The carpet is worn through in areas, what appears to be mold was under the glass of picture frames, etc. Beds were clean and the staff excellent. If not for the staff, this would have been a one star rating.
