The hotel itself was great but don’t be fooled by how close it seems to NYC. The tunnel leading into NYC is always full of traffic and makes a trip into NYC a nearly hour trip one way. It’s also a 15 min walk to get food nearby or really expensive Uber meal. We made it work and the hotel itself was amazing though!

I wasn’t expecting much, but this Holiday Inn was quite nice, clean, friendly and very convenient for our trip - 10min walk to the ferry and path train - grocery, target very close by. Overall was a pleasant stay for the price point and would stay here again.

Took Reservation….didn’t hold reservation.
My flight was delayed 3 hours. I called the hotel to advise of my family and I not being able to check in until after 1 AM. The front desk clerk recorded the situation in their computer. I arrived to a canceled reservation with two children needing to sleep. I asked the clerk if he could see my reservation note of our arrival time, he confirmed he did. The front office clerk advised this was not uncommon and he was “sorry”. My family did not get into another hotel until 5 AM.

A simple SIGN at the front entrance driveway into garage; Enter Here for Check-In, would be helpful. To a new visitor, like me, it was unclear where to park to check in. There is a city sign in the front of the building on the street which says No Stopping Any Time. I even sent an email ahead of time after looking at Street-View, asking where to park to check-in. When I got there, I called and whomever answered couldn't understand my question and STILL didn't say where to enter. I am an experienced traveler and figured it out but to others it could be confusing.
