PROPERTY: Enjoy your coffee on the front porch or listen to the birds while gliding on the swing. Either way, you will acclimate to the Key West vibe in no time.

Located on a teeny tiny quiet lane, this beautifully renovated home is trimmed with a white picket fence and boasts solid surface floors and an open concept living room/kitchen. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or to snack around the large kitchen island with seating for four. Plenty of cabinets, granite counters and stainless-steel appliances round out the kitchen. The living room with TV, ceiling fan, and comfortable furnishings has seating for everyone. From here you may spill out onto the deck via the expansive glass doors. Once outside, you can chill in your private hot tub and wash your cares away.

Each bedroom is superbly furnished and includes an ensuite bath with glass walk in shower. The primary bedroom enjoys a unique ambiance provided by obscure lighting in the vaulted ceiling. The room is also flooded with natural light and adorned with plantation shutters, beautiful bedding, dresser, TV, closet, and bedside wall lighting. The second bedroom is also beautifully furnished and includes bedside wall lighting, ceiling fan, TV, dresser, and your own entrance to the deck. Vacationing in this home will prove to be enjoyable, relaxing, and have you wanting to come back before you even leave.

BED CONFIGURATION: Each king bedroom has an ensuite bath, bedside wall lighting and beautiful furnishings.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Private wrap around deck with hot tub and outdoor shower. Comfortable seating, an umbrella dining table with chairs and a gas grill are provided for your enjoyment. Your own washer/dryer is in the outdoor laundry closet.

PARKING: One on-site parking space is available for a small car. Please note this home is on a tiny, one-way lane.

LOCATION: Located on a quiet lane in Old Town, less than 2 blocks from Duval Street. From here you can walk to many of Key West’s attractions, shopping, restaurants, and bars. A short walk away is the stop for the Duval Loop (a free bus service) to assist you in getting around downtown.

Great property on a quiet street. House was the perfect size for 4 adults. Beautifully decorated and cozy - plenty of space in each of the bedrooms and common areas. Room on the property for a golf cart and bikes. Easy check in/check out; property manager was in contact for any concerns or questions. Would highly recommend to friends who are considering visiting.

Butterfly Cottage is a lovely property! It is in a nice quiet neighborhood, just a short walk to Duval St. restaurants and shopping. It was a great experience from the time I booked it. The staff was so helpful, friendly and made sure I knew how to contact them if there was a need after hours. The house was in a good spot, clean, nicely updated, well-laid out and it had everything we needed! I would rent Butterfly Cottage again!

One of nicest vacation rentals we've stayed in. New, tasteful decor throughout. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. We spent a lot of time hanging out on big wraparound deck. Rental company well organized, professional. Great location in historic district is walkable to key locations. No need for a car. Highly recommend this place!

Nice property
Butterfly Cottage is a cute 2 bdrm, 2 full bath property with a 5 minute walk to Duval Street. Just far enough away to be quiet in the evenings. The house is on a narrow street with a couple of B&B’s. It is secure with a locking privacy gate surrounding the back wrap around porch where the main door is, which is also locking. The front porch is fenced off which makes it inaccessible to people who may be walking down the street. The remodel design of the house is well thought out with 2 bedrooms, each having their own full bathrooms/ showers. The front bedroom is twice the size of the other, but they both have king size beds, which was perfect for our needs. The mattress, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. The sliding glass doors along the back of the house helped the space feel open. The air conditioning was excellent. The only issues was the hot tub was turned off when we arrived. After turning on, the temp did not get above 97. After multiple convos with the property managers and finally a pool company was sent out to fix. Unfortunately it was the last day of our week long stay, so we did not get to enjoy. Overall, I would recommend staying here. The house is clean and comfortable. The property managers were very responsive.

Fantastic cottage in a great location
The Butterfly Cottage is beautiful! It is clean and exactly as advertised. It’s in a perfect location—just a few blocks from almost all the major Key West attractions, but it is on a quiet street, which was great for us and our little kids. We walked and biked everywhere. The property management staff went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best vacations we’ve had.

The Butterfly Cottage is absolutely lovely. The pictures do not even do it justice. Everything was clean, high quality, and beautifully put together, including the outdoor area. The hot tub was a huge plus. Check in is a bit awkward because the office is not close to the cottage. But, it was a small inconvenience. We had a question or two which the managers at Historic Key West Rentals dealt with quickly and pleasantly. You are close to Duval, but far enough to have peace and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Just a couple of blocks from the bustling Duval St. Plenty of restaurants within a short walk. Can walk to most everywhere we wanted to go. Bedrooms and beds were great for the four of us.
