I cannot fault the actual resort but upon checkout i queried my bill as I had been overcharged and always assured that 2 payments would taken off as they were card authorisation holds. This did not happen and I have been overcharged by over $800. Customer service have been no help and I am still waiting for a reply to my last email which has been 4 days. I cannot call as I live in the uk, for a large resort I would expect much better customer service than what I am receiving at present.

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The room was nice, though the weather was perfect our entire trip, so we spent most of the time enjoying the outdoor activities. The pool was clean and a good temperature, and the bar being right there was very convenient. There also seem to be a lot of activities provided by the staff to give people the opportunity to have some fun and get prizes/free drinks. The beach was also nice, and we appreciated that a staff member was there to point us to unused chairs and umbrellas. The balcony just outside our room was a perfect place to watch the sunset each evening. The food and bar options on the property were also quite good. My wife really enjoyed the swordfish, and my steak was cooked perfectly. When we felt like going off property for food or excursions, everything was either very walkable, or an Uber was there very quickly to take us there. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay again.

It was just okay. The room smelled a little musty, the bed seemed like it was a hotel bed since you could feel the springs and the shower did not drain. We had to call for them to fix shower. The hand soap and lotion bottles were flip flopped. We also were suppose to get a vip package at check in and they did not give that to us. We had to ask about it after the fact. The location is good.

This property is. Not as it seems. The exterior of the property looks like it needs to be remodeled. We had ants in our room, a fridge but no microwave, the door would not shut completely you could see the light coming in the bottom and top and basically geckos got in the room.

The location of the southernmost hotel was perfect place to be was in within walking distance of everything you needed to go to. I was just a little perturbed by the fact that they Charge you for amenities and then attacks on the amenities the Temperature of the pools was probably in the 60s maybe 70s. And I had requested extra pillows prior to go in there and of course when I got there, they didn’t have them so unfortunately I had to reach out to the front desk about 10:30 PM for two extra pillows. And finally southernmost knew that we were not bringing a car or not even renting a car but yet they charge us for parking and parking tax and had not requested a copy of my statement. I would’ve been charged $184 for that. I’m assuming a lot of people don’t review their invoices and then are charged with that extra monies for parking and parking tax. To me that stealing, and I did not appreciate it. Another couple that was with us had already closed out their account without even looking until I told him the situation and they went back to the front desk and sure enough they were charged for parking per day plus tax on the parking and again they didn’t have a car either. The hotel of course refunded them the $184 but again if it wasn’t for me telling him my friend or me looking at my statement, we would’ve been charged those monies. Outside of those incidents, the hotel was clean the staff was friendly.

We had a great stay at the Southermost Beach Resort. We originally booked a deluxe king. Once we got to the property, we upgraded to the Oceanview! SO WORTH IT! The property is really large, it would have taken us forever to walk to the beach area. Housing Keeping -- Never came when they said they would. I had to keep text messaging them to come clean our room. Not a huge deal, but with the price of the room, you want it clean. Walking distance was great! The resort will take you around on a golf cart if you ask. You can also rent golf carts to take off the property onsite, and you do not have to pay for parking. There was a little construction, nothing too nosey. All in all, I would give it a 9/10. Will return.

The staff members at this property were very friendly. Check in was seamless and quick despite having a line of people waiting. We received the VIP Gold perks as listed - which is something other hotels seem to struggle with at times. The property itself is large with several different buildings - so it can be tricky to have drive share services pick you up and drop you off at the best location. We used an alternative site that was closest to our building.

Second time staying at this property, and it didn’t disappoint . Property is easy to navigate, restaurant on site, beach, pools, fitness, spa, everything you could need in one place. It would be nice to have a regular coffee machine in the room instead of an expresso machine. Mine didn't work anyway, leaked water all over the tray.
