Kizugawa is known for the Todaiji Temple. The Hotel Nikko Nara and Guesthouse Narakomachi are within a stone's throw of Todaiji Temple.

The Comfort Hotel Nara and also the Sun Hotel Nara are within walking distance of the Nara Park, while the Yuzan Guest House - Hostel and Hotel Fujita Nara are situated near the Nara National Museum. The Kofuku-ji and the Kasuga Shrine are other much-visited Kizugawa attractions. The Nara Hotel and the Hotel Sunroute Nara are both close to the Kofuku-ji. Nabari is 30 kilometres to the southeast of Kizugawa and is where you'll find the Akame 48 Waterfalls, Remains of Mihata Tumuli and Remains of Natsumihaiji Temple.
