Kizugawa is known for the Todaiji Temple. The Hotel Nikko Nara and Guesthouse Narakomachi are within a stone's throw of Todaiji Temple.

Nabari is 30 kilometres to the southeast of Kizugawa and is where you'll find the Akame 48 Waterfalls, Remains of Mihata Tumuli and Remains of Natsumihaiji Temple.
