The air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy. There was no option for filling up water bottles. The hotel stank of cigarette smell all of the time compared to other hotels. We arrived at 1pm and they asked for money to check in earlier without even checking if our room was available.

The room was nice but...
The hotel room was very nice and huge. The check in process was unfamiliar as they use kiosks (no people) to obtain your keys. Note: there is a fee if you arrive prior to 3pm and want to go to your room. The rate booked online varies from the actual charge because when you actually check-in, there are additional "resort fees". If you self park, you park at a different hotel and walk thru other walkways to get to destination. We were on a non-smoking floor but you sure could smell marijuana coming thru some of the doors on the way to our room. There was no coffee maker in the room. I did try, unsuccessfully, to arrange for a morning room service delivery. The food at the Guy's restaurant was very good.

More of a complaint about people in general. I can’t understand why someone brings their dog to Vegas and keeps it locked in the room during the day. The couple days we slept in we heard dogs barking and whining from several rooms until we left.

Worst staying experience. I booked two rooms as the pictures show. But when I came to the room they were totaly different. All the staff were poker faced .They said it was Expedia's problem because they use the fake pictures. They said I need to pay $50/room to upgrade to the room as i saw from the pictures. I just wanted my family could have a good sleep after a whole day walking so I upgraded the room. The even worse thing was I booked two beds room but they give me a one bed room after upgrading. The rooms we're very far away from the front desk so I have to walk back and forth again and again to correct everything. I said I have to talk to the manager, the most rediculous thing happened, they let the security out. I travel a lot, booked many hotels from lodge to luxury hotels but never heard this. It's the worst hotel in my life. Worst staff,dirty hallway with trash on the floor, noisy environment, far away from parking lot, long distance between rooms and front desk(you have to walk through the casino) … when I checked out there was a $20 parking fee charged by the room and they told my to use room key to leave the parking lot but actually it's not working .I had to pay $20 again . The elevators are decaying as well as the rooms. We used to love it because it’s right in the center of the strip but this might have been our last time staying there unless the start doing something about the condition of the Hotel.

Paid to upgrade to Fountain view, blocked by tower in front of our room. Escalators not functioning. Check in process is slow. Room was large, bed was comfortable, shower was very good. Great location, mid strip. Lots of dining choices near. Smoky inside casino.

Friendly staff, gambling was good. Unsure on the self check in station as i had issues with the room choice and no options to choose from. (had to take the 2 queens instead of just 1 king, unsure if I was charged for this increase when it wasn't necessary/wanted traveling solo). Waiting on bill to know this, otherwise pretty satisfied with the hotel overall. Would come here again if there was no room increase charge.

I thought this was a decent place to stay. The rooms were a little outdated and not as clean as they should be. We had a homeless person sleeping at our door when we arrived at our upgraded room. Staff at check in/out could ha e been a little friendlier.

Welcome BACK Horseshoe Logo
The hotel room was perfect, and I am glad the Horseshoe Logo came back to Vegas. No issues with the hotel room nor the casino. Great work Horseshoe employees. Maybe, just add more signs to your parking area. It was a little confusing to find the parking structure.

The hotel supposedly had undergone a recent renovation but it looks exactly the same as when I stayed there 7 years ago when it was still Ballys. The original room we were given had a leak from the ceiling light in the bathroom. The room above had a leak and maintenance was supposed to come look at it. We came back from wandering around to the light falling out of the ceiling. Several hours later we were told to move rooms which was fine. New room never had enough towels, we asked front desk and housekeeping several times for an extra towel and one never showed up. Mirrors in the elevators were all cracked and broken, there was what looked like a large blood stain on the carpet in the new room that was covered up by a piece of furniture.

Our room was GIANT. Loved all the room in the room. Staff was super helpful. Paris connected next door is wonderful. I truly don’t like that there are MORE buildings blocking the front of the Horseshoe. Ol’ Red? It really cheapens the look of the property.

It seems like they charge for everything, includes WiFi, hot water… this is the first time that I had to pay for the WiFi for extra devices. Horrible. Never come back.
