Great hotel, room was lovely and loved having a bath and a shower separate. Beds were comfy too only thing was I was surprised there was no fridge or ice bucket but apart from that it was great and would stay here again.

This was my 2nd visit this year.....and possibly not the last! As always the staff were friendly and helpful and my room was clean and spacious. I had dinner on 1 of the nights in the restaurant and the food was lovely (breakfast each morning always is also).

Extra charge for dogs per night for cleaning
Hotel needs a refurbishment in bedrooms. Not enough staff. Menu in restaurant a bit dull. Now charge for dogs . Have visited before and not so good. Parking next to hotel not discounted. Cost extra £45 for 2 nights. We have small well behaved dogs but still charged for “extra” cleaning. Our dogs sleep in a box and not allowed on furniture. Suggest a deposit which is returned after room checked by housekeeping.

We love staying in the Malmaison as it is in a great location. Quiet situation but an easy walk into the city. Staff are always very friendly and attentive too. Breakfast just a little pricey.
